  1. Waspi exclusive when just using vst audiobix usb with Asio when recording audio Various buffer sizes. 16 bit It works when I use bitwig 8 with same gear/settings.
  2. Surge is 64 but. I did come up with a workaround. I have 2 bars of nothing at the beginning of my project. I loop that and can go through all the patches no problem (but once I stop the loop surge goes back to making strange robot noise) Not ideal but it is a great synth with a lot of sounds and it’s free.
  3. Recently download 3 free vst synths. Surge, vital, and ob3. Vital is working fine but after loading surge and recording anything the synth sound quality becomes unusable. So I can not go through the patches to hear what they sound like. However once I start recording the sounds return to normal. Once I stop recording the sound returns to bad. Same thing is happening to the ob3. At first I thought it might be surge specific but with the ob3 doing the same I’m wondering if there is more to it. Any help would be appreciated. Btw surge works fine in my Bitwig DAW
  4. I have installed calkwalk on 2 hp laptops with windows 10. One recognizes the studio one plugins (really want access to the strings vst) the older laptop (still running windows 10) does not. I have tries a bunch of solutions with file path but no luck. i see the vst is installed on my computer but wont show up as a choice in the program. My newer laptop does show it and it works fine. The problem is the newer laptop is shared with the family the older one (HP pavilion g7)is all my mine.
