  1. Thanks John. It would be nice if the DAW folks could get together and agree on a particular saving format that is better than OMF, includes midi-audio,etc. - and works on all DAWS.
  2. Yes. But I would like to keep this permanently. I did finally figure out how to use the plugin in designer and now I am fairly happy about it. It was more painful that I would have liked. Still a big cakewalk fan!
  3. I figured it out. In Asio panel, I had it limited to 16 tracks. There was not an option for 24, so I changed it to 32.
  4. Hi: I upgraded my lynx aurora thunderbolt from 16 channels to 24 channels. However, Cakewalk only shows 16 channels. How do I get this to 24 in Cakewalk? Thank you!
  5. Off topic Andres - but are you using Ravenscroft? I just recently went back to using it. It just works so well!
  6. I do not think you can change the background color in preferences. If you can - where is that located? And in the inspector view - when there are a ton of tracks and clips - that is a pain. I would like to be able to change the default for all projects.
  7. Yes - please allow changed background colors like the ability to change foreground in colors - in preferences - colors.
  8. bdickens - you nailed it! Even though cakewalk does not all cc1 "volume" - it is indeed volume for the Emotional Cello library. Sailor55 - I have not tried your solution yet, but I appreciate it.
  9. Thanks scook. Unfotunately, changing the zero controllers setting did not solve this issue.
  10. Thank you. I need to find that setting in Cakewalk!
  11. This is driving me crazy. I have emotional cello. It uses Kontakt player 6. Everytime I start it reduces the volume. This is on a particular multi-track piece. If I start a new project, no problem. I have deleted the volume controller on the track. What am I missing?
  12. I just hope this cakewalk model is sustainable. I really want it to last for years.
  13. I thought so too. And I have been using Cakewalk for 15 years or more. But somehow when I updated it, it made it click on!
  14. Scook - you solved it. Now that it is solved I am wondering my the DC offset with would checked as a default in the program. It sucks! I suppose it must benefit someone!
  15. Thank you Starship Krupa. Here is another interesting finding: If I record both mics to one track as a stereo track - no problem. But when I record the left mic on track 1 and the right mic on track 2 - the problem is there when I play back both Tracks 1 and 2!
  16. Hi everyone. I have had a weird thing happen. I was checking out two AEA r44ce mics. I recorded flute and then drum. When I pan the left and right mic - there is a strange distortion that appears. When I center both tracks - it goes away! Any thoughts? I am trying to reboot my system. Using a lynx aurora 16n (the newer one) with thunderbolt. This one has got me stumped! Why would the distortion go away when both tracks are centers and not panned even if I raise the volume?
  17. Thank you again, Craig. I will keep a lookout for that DVD set! That was a good price on reverb!
  18. Thank you, Craig. Where did you find these Discrete Drum loops? I found this site below, but I am uncertain if it is the correct website: https://www.sonomawireworks.com/discretedrums/ Thank you!
  19. So, what is the consensus? Should I download this update? My program keeps on asking me to do so! Thank you!!!
  20. While this is being asked - I am not sure what the best plugin is for this. Not all phase corrections, as I understand it, are based on a simple inversion.
  21. I am seeing a theme here at times. Stability and bug fixes are more important than adding new features. Thank you, great Cakewalk people!
  22. Fortunately, I have kept my CD Architect application file and serial number. If I could not find it, I would buy it off of Amazon, though I wonder why it cannot be purchased from Sony directly?
