I'm on Windows 7 Pro and latest (free) Cakewalk runs fine here.. (I have Windows Update disabled, no virus software etc...those are the usual prob causers....my internet is Google...) Probably in couple years Google internet might not work anymore...by then I take the computer offline and use it just for music.

Afaik internet comparisons/reviews for Cakewalk were always positive. Guess it's more lack of marketing than the product. If Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, Dre or Rabea would use Cakewalk.....you'd see it everywhere (They'd be swearing maybe now/then about the midi writing/editing though)

Guess few people live more practical than me....EVERYTHING nearby in my small town/village...don't even need a bicycle. Can walk (approx 1 min) to : Supermarket, 3 bakery, 2 dentist, 3 hairshop, diy store, post office, doctor, 2carshop, 2 butcherstore, flowershop, bikerepair, fishshop, 2 donershop, gym, fysio, pets supply, 2 asian food, weeky fresh market, 4 pubs, restaurant, brothel, gokart track etc etc. basically ANYTHING one needs and a LOT more (botox/plastic churgery in me street, spiritual healing) crazy I know...
