I just opened the assistant, (as admin) then clicked refresh activation and this time it worked.

finally it activates, lost a day's work , no need to reinstall though, must've been their server was down or something, great engineering, at least should display a message or something!

I agree, I too use it for work, it's a shame because I really like this soft now, I don't want to have to go back to sonar x3 (wich I paid for) o another soft but this kind of problems are ridiculous, why a free software has a demo mode anyways?

me too, I had to reinstall my OS today, and cakewalk refuses to activate. I tried reinstall as admin and logout-login and nothing.... crap
