    I've installed 3 different times, run as administrator, disabled firewall, and so on. Cakewalk still won't activate. If the software is free wtf is the point of activation? I think it would save everyone a lot of time if the *****ing software just worked and wasn't in DEMO mode as a default.

    I installed cakewalk, tried to activate via bandlab assistant, nothing happened. I uninstalled everything, then re-ran the installation as an administrator, same result, it won't activate. wtf is going on?
