As the upgrade price is now $49, does that mean the Spaces 2 regular price is $48? (deep cut)

PSA: Amazon has become a dumping ground for cheap Chinese crap
PhonoBrainer replied to bitflipper's topic in The Coffee House
Not since I got burned by their horribly short return policy, when a third-party vendor hosted by Newegg, on Newegg's site, sent me a used open box SSD which was advertised as new. Newegg claimed their 14 day return policy began on the day the item shipped, not the day I received the item. So any shipping delays that occur (INCLUDING WEATHER RELATED) eat into your Return time policy. So, no, not Newegg, not ever again. -
PSA: Amazon has become a dumping ground for cheap Chinese crap
PhonoBrainer replied to bitflipper's topic in The Coffee House
I've spent the last four days over-researching laptops, ssd upgrades, ram upgrades. I sleuthed Amazon, B&H, and Best Buy. I ended up buying the laptop, memory stick, and ssd from B&H. I needed pry tools and small screwdrivers for the opening of the laptop. Bought those on Amazon for $9.98. Cheap crap has its place, and that would be Amazon. -
a fun thread, brought me back to my early 90s foray into Opcode Vision. Wow, midi sequencing!!! And apropos, from the Opcode Wikipedia page, "In 1998, Opcode was bought by Gibson Guitar Corporation. Development on Opcode products ceased in 1999."

I think the kids are trying! I like the Lifeson-esque guitars, but the Sax solo is underbaked.

From Toronto, perhaps too much posing, definitely talented, seem to be aiming at a Boomer throwback vibe What's the verdict?

That was seriously awesome of you to give those notes!!! Exactly what I'm needing at this point. The timing issue is probably the most critical for the viewer, and I know I can slide things around a skosh. But sadly, its also true there will never be a Q - A timing that works perfectly for all viewers. I did survey a lot of other quiz-type channels and, as you recommend, most of them are offering 20 or 30 seconds inside a question! I guess I'm picking another lane here, we're in, we're out, you know it or you don't, and we're moving on to the next one. We'll see what affect that has on video viewer retention 🤪 Super idea about the shorts ! All of your comments are much appreciated!!!

I made a trivia quiz video . . . my original music is in the background . . . Would love any comments on the flow, the pace, the tunes, the questions and answers, the readibility, and really just how you liked it or didn't. I'm up for notes and refinement - thanks!

Shout out to @satya for the effort! The Sorcerer has an Apprentice. As for rehab, no need really, you'll give it up naturally when you run out of disposable income and credit.

Should I be disturbed by the assertion that you knew my sister??? My sympathies, my good man, sympathies.

My first vinyl was fantastic. No, really! Zoom in for the mega-stars of 1973 . . . But before this, I had listened to my older sister's vinyl that she left at home when she went to college . . . And if you put these two together, it leads me to my first proper rock album?

Melodic Techno Livejam With A Heavy Bass Drone Vibe
PhonoBrainer replied to Nick Blanc's topic in Songs
I thought this was pretty interesting! Very nice room setup and I appreciate the synth porn. I alternated between watching your moves and then closing my eyes for just the audio. Both worked a treat! I listened on my best headphones. I did hear some separation and panning of elements, but I felt like whatever YouTube does to audio might be doing you the slightest disservice. I bet it sounds just a hair more hi-res in your room! That's a lot of effort - do you practice the moves beforehand before filming it, following a script of some kind? Super interesting process, and I appreciate the brevity. Some peoples "watch me jams" can be an hour long, which is quite ridiculous imho. That fat-***** bass drony synth is the highlight, it's super rich, sounds great in this! kudos! cheers, -Tom -
Bring it, that ye may be judged. Approvingly.
