I tried it and it's nice, but then I played my Wurlitzer by 8DIO and it's a total different level. 8Dio sometimes has sales and you can get it for 30 Dollars. It's worth it. The same can be said about their Rhodes. Both are wonderful and very versatile (many Velocity Layers!!)

Hi, thx for the response: i am on Win10 and i only use Windows Defender. After your post i added some of the folder i thought relevnt to the exclusions list of Windows Defender (Waves and VST3 folder) - Do you think this could be the solution? I will try this and i will reinstall Waves CR8 when i am back home in the evening.

Hi all, The new Waves CR8 Sampler VST3i disappears after launching Cakewalk a second time. Steps to reproduce are: Update to latest Cakewalk Activate and Install Waves CR8 Sampler (VST3i) Launch Cakewalk and let it search and find new VSTs Start project and load CR8 Sampler (it is located in the Waves Folder in instrument section) and it works as expected Close Cakewalk Launch Cakewalk a second time CR8 Sampler has disappeared or CR( has been moved outside the Waves Folder and is still visible but upon loading Cakewalk says "it is not installed" Anyone else has this error? Hello, i would like to be able to use and define my own functions to many of the (less used) pre-defined Keys (A, V, B, etc.). So, the dialog should just allow to "unbind" the predefined functions of all available keys. Is this possible in the near future? (i actually want this since 1998 ) BR, Peter

so 2. is it cakewalks fault or a bug in CR8? 3. i have waves central, but I have never seen an update notification like in the Native Instruments or Arturia Client. Does Waves perform the updates in the background without notification ?

Can anyone help me with 3 questions I have..? 1. Cosmos launches but gets stuck creating the database. Does anyone has the same error?? 2. and CR8 disappears in the lists of VSTi after Cakewalk is launched a second time? why is that? 3. How does Waves provide updates to their software to us users? (e. g. the Native Instrument clients highlights updates to installed software, I don't see anything like this in the Waves Client..? Thank you, Peter

Yes.. this is discussed in every forum, and also in the official beta tester forum. Some of the obvious tweaks (e. g. press enter for value entry ;), mouse scroll for value changes,...) take longer than you would expect.... A resizeable GUI is the main unresolved issue. Hopefully it will be addressed in v7. Let's hope NI survives the latest merger and Kontakt will be their main focus..

my Notebook is a Lenovo from 2011 Core i5 with 8 GB RAM.. Here quite smooth bahaviour, no dropouts unless there is a lot of plugins involved (high CPU average)
