I don't know if this would work. A cal file is intended to be specific to a particular mic and compensate for build variability AFAIK,when measured against a reference standard. IK don't supply one with their mic, because I believe, they claim a low variability from unit to unit. I don't know if ARC requires a cal file if you use a different mic. ...this subject probs needs it own thread, as I expect many people took the ARC software and are in the same boat about mic choices.

As I understand it, the Dayton Audio EMM-6 is the same as the ECM8000 and Dayton provide a calibration file .

Downloaded a few trials to see what the fuss was all about......the tones are really super... I like rock , jazz and blues tones ..Neural DSP appear to be metal / high gain focused....but Plini does sound great to me. However, they need to solve the processing noise issues...... too much hiss amd crakling noise ...and its not just the high gain stuff.... The noise improves when you reduce the plug input gain, lower the amp input gain , dial back the compressor ...up the noise gate...but that kills the tone... I compared with S-Gear ( my go-to amp sim) and don't have the same issue... ...just not very usable....... hopefully the next revision solves the issue...
