already tried it. wasn't compatible with my sound card
you may start to think about buying a real-sound card..this would fix all your problems

i changed my sampling rate in driver settings to 44100 but i still get the same problem
you can try ASIO4all,this might improve the perfomance with it
-
from the gif(video) you have put above, the audio-drop out..
you can try 44100 (but onboard soundcard are "stuck" to 48000 ..

Scan plug ins are all unchecked in preferences. I'd say its just been since the last couple updates. That being said I thought I'd try opening a project using Sonar Platinum and I get the same sort of "hang". It'll eventually open the project, but it can literally take 5 minutes.
im sorry i dont know what can cause this hang..
-
could it be that is scaning-plugins?
-
have you tryed re-install it? just a guess..

Hi everyone, hoping to get help recording two instruments (mic and guitar) at once.
I have a Profx6v3, and the only channels available for recording are left/right/stereo. If I create a track and plug a guitar in Input 1, and select input as Left, it still comes through as recording on track 2. Even when Track 2 is selected as Right and I have a Mic plugged into Input 2.
I'm doing something stupid and I have no idea what.
Thanks
Chris
welcome to the forum CJ,from what you describle all your setting seems good, does track 2(right-input)record on track-1 ??

It is all about what works for you - should you ever decide to take another look at Cakewalk by Bandlab, I would hope that you can get whatever audio issues you were having with it resolved - I happen to have multiple DAW software suites installed - and each have different methods of performing common functions for music production. Best wishes for success with your music projects

So I decided to try out Reaper, to see if this is an issue with other DAWs as well...... Well it's not! I went all the way down to 128 samples, have no noticeable latency and i can run loads of VSTs without any audio dropouts or crackling! 😮
i also move to reaper i can record on a full-mix project buffer @128
can cakewalk use a graphics card?
