    This thread has less wasted space on the right side (but more wasted space than some others due to short posts and fewer images).  😉

    Thanks, Pragi! Love the down 18% in the top 5 performers! Note to Finviz: And that's why we don't smoke the mugwort.

    But did you ever try to smoke mugwort?

    Sunday morning I could barely walk. Looking down at my feet in horror, the left one was grossly swollen, discolored and - ick - bleeding. If it's still like this tomorrow I'll make an appointment to have it looked at in a month or so. (Yeh, laugh it up, you Europeans. Our health care system is spelled f-r-e-e-d-o-m, you commies.)

    Hello Bit,

    have you tried this ?

    fresh mugwort, tied to the leg or placed in shoes, is supposed to revitalize tired feet. Today, tired legs and feet are rubbed with mugwort tincture or oil.

    My experience is  to give some fresh mugwort leaves in the shoe/socks, and the feet are healing quick and getting well.

    I hope you are getting well soon.

    Hey all, happy to introduce myself. I make workflow tools. Time-savers. I get that it's not everyone's cup of tea, but some folks have common tasks they find themselves doing repeatedly, and might want tools to speed them up. 🙂

    For instance, you can certainly recreate what X-Fade is doing by drawing in your volume. You'd want to taper it some, to get more of an equal-power crossfade (so the volume doesn't dip midway through). X-Fade just automates it for you, so you can perform it on the fly in real time (and it'll direct the midi data to each channel as well as the volume data). You also have more fine-tuned control over details like the shape of the curve it generates.

    So, I'm figuring out my voice isn't really a good voice for singing.  I can create music and write new songs, but my voice isn't on par with even average singers.

    I'm trying to see where would be the best place to find singers whom are either just starting out or those whom didn't make it yet can sing basically average or a hobbyist singer.

    I am a hobbyist looking for hobbyist.  I'm not in anyway trying to spend money for a singer, as I know where to pay for singers.

    Just want to see if I can find a hobbyist singer whom just loves to sing new songs.

    Anyone know a good direction, as Google hasn't helped me much or I'm not typing in the correct words into Google for it to help me correctly?

    Why not trying to get contact to vocalists  inside the bandlab community?

    I'm in a comparable situation with my songs.

    There have  been some Cakewalk-discuss forum members which have reported about their way of searching singer in the bandlab forum, if I remember right the basic line was that it takes some time  and afford to get the right contact..

    I will check it out during the next months.

    I don't own SD3, but it's pretty much like this:

    SD3 = king
    BFD3 = close second
    AD2 = decent enough for demos or when realism isn't asked for
    SSD5 = a toy

    Imo  AD 2 is pretty much underrated. Using the samples without fx/ presets turns AD 2 nearly at the same Level as  SD3 and BFD 3, except for the cymbals.
