  1. Yes Yes, MIDI. I do understand that there are limitations to identifying a scale due to not enough information, but the program could be improved to elicit that information from the musician using it. A challenge-response function such as "add a melody you hear in your head to the chords" or add some "chords to the melody." These are the kinds of questions a learned mentor might ask if they were helping you evolve as a musician. Of course, the holy grail would be an app that could recognize and identify modulations. That idea seems to be lying over the horizon and out of sight of these sorts of helper apps. What I don't understand is leaving the application to function as is while piling on a bunch of goober bloat in the extra content folder. It seems like it is becoming just another variant of new and improved creativity in a bottle. It's starting to remind me of the early 2000's SONAR dev shell game paradigm. .
  2. Sadly, Scaler seems to be devolving towards a focus on promising instant song creation rather than serious chord melody analysis. I use it by feeding it chord progressions that I have "composed" by ear, a task which was purportedly Scaler's purpose. But, after it does its best job at analysis, I still have to guess which one of its guesses most closely describes the scale hidden within the movement of the chords I have supplied. I don't need an endless collection of arpeggios, bass lines, beats, etc. to lay on top of my progression. I already hear those in my head. I wanted to use Scaler as a fast and convenient way to identify scales and suitable harmonies, and it has not proven to be especially good at that. I expected more, but I have found that each update has accustomed me to receiving less.
  3. I'm glad I bought the full bundle, plus Timeless, for $498 back on 07/19/2013. I've enjoyed over a decade of pleasure using these plugins. That is 3931 days to date, or 12.668532180106843042482828796744 pennies per day for you penny pinchers. I think I am going to get R2 while its 58% off and probably going to upgrade to Volcano 3 while it's 75.5% off.
  4. Thank you for taking the time to make and post the screen shot. Thank you.
  5. Screen Shots or it didn't happen. Let's see that new improved UI. .
  6. Who is GN and why does Chrome flash a warning that this download is not secure?
  7. I can't wait. I just bought a Student ID for $26 on Discord, so I can get the 50% EDU off the 40% sale with the 40% off in my account to complete my bundle with FabFilter R2 I'm gonna be awesome!

  9. Yes, but is it feature complete?
  10. Has anyone seen a Pianonteq Pro 8 upgrade sale for world piano day 2024? I want to note edit impedance but find it hard to justify the full $130 to get the chance. :-)
  11. I was searching through the AAS sound packs to select two freebies, and I was reminded how exhausting it is to contemplate the choices they present. The titles of the libraries are essentially meaningless. Almost all of the libraries are presented as a grab bag of mystery meat sound design. The patch list for each library is comprised of names harvested from a psychedelic mad lib game. I would prefer it if the libraries were closely related to specific themes. For example, I eagerly purchased and greatly enjoyed the Analog Orchestra sound pack. For example, I considered the sound pack "Caffeine," which purports to be for Lounge Lizard users but seems intent on turning the Electric Keyboard-themed application into a generic do-it-all synth. No thanks. I wish they had choices like "Bass," which focuses exclusively on bass, or "Arpeggios," which focuses exclusively on Arpeggios, or something like that. I know that they have packages named like this, but the contents to frequently diverge from the stated theme. I ended up choosing Plastic Pop because it seems to be dedicated to vintage synth sounds, and Kicks and Snare because it has a "shaker" that I thought I might be interested in. With the current method of making everything seem like everything, it exhausts me to find anything useful enough to bother installing, even when they are giving the libraries away for free. I still have not installed my 2023 Christmas present, and I don't think I have used my 2022 Christmas present, which I installed last summer. The presentation of the product diminishes the likelihood that I will buy anything. I really like the AAS instruments, so I wish they would do a more effective job of highlighting what each instrument excels at rather than catering to the collect-them-all hoarder mentality.
  12. Thank you to both for explaining the details.
  13. I guess today is the last day for this bundle, and I wold like to buy Painter for use on a computer I have not even built yet. The discussion about installers piqued my interest. Am I going to be able to download free-standing installers that I may archive for future use? Thank you.

  15. Hi, I have heard of Humble Bundle for several years but this is the first time I have considered making a purchase. I am primarily interested in the Painter License. I am a little confused about the idea that you redeem the license on DRM-free when the Corel website says you need to use their online authorization. Is this really 100% legit? Also, did anyone get Painter? is it really a full version or some sort of lite promotional version? Thank you!
  16. Windows XP through Win 11. A $60 no brainer.
  17. It sounds like you are saying it sounds like a piano sounds. .
  18. I am interested in acoustic piano models. The descriptions you shared are helpful. Thank you .
  19. Thank you for the suggestion. I have not tried the demo. I boot my old Roseberry DAW very infrequently these days, and when I do I am usually preoccupied with an urge to record right away. I understand it was a long shot to ask such a question. Thank you for sharing a humane gesture.
