  1. My magic wand doesn't work. I shall see if they fixed the price issue on Monday.
  2. Don't let the fanboyz hear that. They seem to be more interesting in making addons instead of working on their outdated DAW. I'd probably spring for this but $49 is a LOT of money right now. I do believe some DAWs have this function.
  3. Same here. I have Max 3.5 I'm not gonna pay $49 for some presets. It's not worth my time to email support to get $9 presets either. Maybe they'll fix this. I get to the point where buying brings confusion it's time to pass. It's pretty sad your IK plugin is locked out of their effect container. I don't have that problem with Kilohearts or Melda. When you are happy with IK they eventually do something to piss you off. I think I have an idea what abused spouses go thru.
  4. "The real question is: are you good enough to use stock plugins?" Sometimes these are embarrassing. It's like seeing a kid who can really play his Squire Strat and you know some chords that you play on your LP. I think Live users seem to use built in stuff the most. Youtube is full of videos using the 3xOsc. I have so many toys for Reason but so many people cranked out stuff using Reason 4,5.
  5. Try older releases. the last version was a problem for me. I had to go back a version and then install the latest.
  6. Also Serum presets I'm trying to discipline myself by avoiding purchases that offer free stuff. I sure don't need a 24gb piano. Anything with Lite is less tempting. Pripyat page was about politics.
  7. I don't bother looking anymore. I got too much stuff.
  8. I had some budget electric I traded in for an LP Studio back in 2010. That was also when you got a case with them. They didn't have one so they knocked another 100 off. The problem with a case that says Gibson or Fender might as well say "Steal Me". The beauty of imports is the consistency is them same. Not so with America made unless it's PRS.
  9. If you are building up for Melda everything it's a bigger discount buying direct.
  10. Just noticed the WD Sata 1TB SSDs are 89.99.
  11. To me this is like having Waves 14 and installing Waves 9. Developers can't avoid that "create stupid GUI" crack pipe. I still am annoying with those thin scroll bars. Plus you'll spend time trying to make 11 look like 10. Long live Windows 10.
  12. Same here. Opening Bandlab is a reminder I have too many plugins.
  13. Yep and Epis are quality instruments. I'm glad I'm not a guitar player because I would suffer from headstock syndrome.
  14. Some people though gotta have that other name on the headstock.
  15. Plus it's less confusing with an older system. I prefer SATA because of the simplicity.
  16. Same here. I'll stick with Arturia. I like how they do things.
  17. Kinda like Apple products. Hard to beat a RYO external drive or just use drive docks. I'd be afraid a platter would go bad on those mega drives before you fill half of it.
  18. Soundpaint and its libraries are a no buy for me. EULA has 2 machine limit. Kontakt (not the player) rules. Not a fan of machine limit libraries even though I have VSL and HWO. Beside the brass picture is a pocket trumpet with a mute. I had no idea mutes exist for a pocket trumpet. If you are a brass player you know the only reason for ever owning a pocket trumpet is so you can play it in a phone booth.
  19. There is also a new 40gb Grand and a Drum machine for Soundfactory.
  20. So no one has this?
  21. If you ever go WUP = means you're senile.
  22. Recertified - means it was broken and will break again. Also a much shorter warranty. These are often 5400RPM.
  23. It comes with the Melda everything and another one called Guitar Architect. BTW Melda doesn't let you know if there is a new version of 16 beta but it's now up to 16.00f.
