I have yet to divorce myself from Waves plugins. I do like CR8 which I have 3 licenses. Good thing they are an outstanding developer.

Best comment so far on KVR:
"So not an informative post then, just more Waves bashing from the same idiotic members. Hey ho".
I wonder what $29 plugin was slipped to that person for that comment.

Small discussion for KVR. I wonder which ones are paid shills.
So there is no v14 of Cre8. They are probably eyeing when it is convenient to slap a paid upgrade.
Wups! You have to go to the website to activate those.

No shock and awe or mentioning on other forums. Here it is shock and not awe.

It is abandonware. Check it out the thread on KVR. Save your money. I have it and don't use it.

The loyalty offers seem to come from planter WTF. They never really make sense. All of my Izotope stuff isn't broken so I probably wont upgrade anything unless they make a mistake like this again. I still think they did it intentionally.
Not a fan of these bundles that have 3rd party products. MPS5 - I have most of that stuff that maybe only justifies a $99 upgrade.

Loved that young lady's video. It's very spot on. Reason unfortunately requires to much OS drive space once you get into REs. Mine is over 15gb. They haven't figured out how to put content on other drives like most developers.

That $29 price is based on owning FX Collection 2 AND Fragments, which is part of the upgrade
So what is in the 29 price if you have both? Just the FX3 label?

The smallest library footprint I've seen yet for SoundPaint
Maybe it's a typo and should be 307gb

Worth the upgrade for Reason 11 users?
Some consider it a downgrade. But for Combi2 it's worth it.

This may be the first IK Group Buy in history that doesn't go all the way...
I'd say the world economy is going to play a part. It's a lot different spending $49 in a group buy but something over $100 probably isn't going to sway many. While this is a nice group buy parting with $$$ up front doesn't seem to spark the but" it's $ for each plugin".
I don't do vocals so the strip doesn't do anything for me. That would be the only one I'm missing. Sad that I haven't even bothered to explore all of these great plugins.

this seems to be only $29 for me - however I do own Fragments (which is fabulous!)
Shall have to see exactly what I get for my dollars!!!

I'm curious as well. It's like a rocket science for me.

You should return your crystal ball.

Anyone remember OMF?

Terrible name... (What were they thinking?)
While I have no doubt about the benefits, it's hard to bump an industry standard plugin format.
Bitwig and U-he are the only "major" software/plugin vendors currently onboard.gger companies are going to be reluctant to make a change.
Unless the entire industry adopts "CLAP" (that just sounds wrong), it's over before it's begun.
It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.

I've had Aether ever since it came out. I paid $149 long before the plugin price wars came out. There are no shortage or reverbs these days.

Not worth the 119 upgrade

Bought the EQ 31 last week.

Ugh, hate the portal as it won't continue downloads it starts. I ended up with 18 partial download files because it kept stopping, "Awkward!" and restarting started over completely. Finally had to go to the Legacy section of my account and download Neutron 3 Advanced manually which was slow and was interrupted a couple of times but completed fully.
I have this happen only on 1 system. The other two is fine. My guess is it has something to do with download connection. It's really slow because it's wirelss.
BTW the verbs were also updated. Those don't show up in the Portal.

Seems Waves Marketing is at a loss...they just keep repeating sales over and over,
and offer nothing in the free plugins that most don't already havehttps://everyplugin.com/catalogsearch/advanced/result/?manufacturer[]=6
That's pretty much every developer these days.

This update mania! 😉
It seems that WE all are not of value anymore, because we're not updated! 😆 And the Ferrari of the 60ties, the stradivarius violin, they have no value anymore, because they are not updated! How crazy is this kind of view? Modern times!
I have a lot of plugins and other software that have not been updated for years, and I can tell you that I have less problems with them than with "modern, updated" software! But YMMV!
You also have to blame the on the (d)evolving OS. I miss those days of Windows having only service packs.

I thought they would be upgraded automatically in Waves Central but I had to go to the website.
I can't wait to see which of my DAWs gets confused with the plugin scan.
