I love Waves for their **** business model. I no longer hoard plugins like I use to. $29 for any plugin by any developer doesn't do it for me anymore. It's still hard to beat those Waves timeless classics. Licensing is the #1 issue for me.

They fall short of being Waves unless they introduce WUP.

Hey someone used the food comparison correctly. Someone will compare a plugin price to justify it by comparing food. I can get a nice tasting bottle of Caberlet or Merlot for $5 (not a liquor snob at all) and it better for me. Food and fuel prices have easily doubled in America and I'm sure that is affecting the DAW industry relying on hobbyists. I has curbed by GAS spending (not enough) because I had to buy gas.

You can stand in line with all of the other plugin brokers hoping people never see deals in other forums. Of course the end user can be tricked into it's only $10 a plugin.

The only benefit for a Linux is user. is.......... (crickets chirping) Let's see........a larger doorstop collection of once used audio interfaces that exceeds Apple Feeling superior for taking a longer approach using something inferior.

Templates are broken since these use older versions of synths.

Check your NI account. Mine still says $99 instead of $79
-
Who has it?
-
NI libraries are getting bloated. I think one could do better with various 3rd party developers. Upgrade - upgrade from what?
-
Anyone have this?

That's a lotta money for me. I'm not smart enough to handle such things. This would never happen if it were an Apple product. They would design it so no one could do it and never a DIY upgrade/

This was kinda a kneejerk purchase. I know it's $10 but that's money away from something else.

That is why I avoid software subs. Too many hoops to jump through.

Silk 2 is probably around the corner? If you are a VSt3 only user there is no version of that.
