Bought 2 more Ark collections this year, but no email code for me.  😡

AFAIK it's a generic code and not a custom one.  Not sure if it's allowed but if it is, I or someone else can post the code.

LOVE LOST!  New sound pack for Strum GS-2 and AAS Player

I chose that one as well! Hopefully I'll get around to using it before the freebie next year!

This year my focus was vocals:

Synthesizer V Studio Pro (love it!)
      Dreamtronics Natalie (love it!)
      Eclipsed Sounds Solaria (love it!)
Zero-G Ethera Gold Atlantis 2 (hate it!)

Can I ask what you hate about Atlantis 2? Did you have the previous version and if so, did you like it? Just curious because I haven't upgraded yet and Ethera is usually pretty quality.

  4. I was just looking for this developer the other day and couldn't remember the name. I regrettably bought some instruments off eBay when I first started this journey, thinking I got a good deal but didn't realize they were cracked.  Didn't take me long to realize and I deleted all of the instruments I had purchased once I did.  Anyway, there were some guitars from Pettinhouse included and I've always meant to go back and purchase them legitimately.

Just bought this one this morning. Played with it a bit, going to have to figure out the best way to use it.

Think it was worth it? $15 is like a hamburger so it's really not that much money, but I'm always nervous about bloating my work flow too much with options that aren't really viable.

I'm not buying any more 8DIO libraries. I'll wait for the Soundpaint version.

I'm sort of having that same struggle. I love the SP engine and what it can do but until they get legato going, they're sorely missing a lot of their better libraries. I'm tempted to get this since I don't have a great children's choir, but it would be so much cooler if I cutoff morph little Billy with a bazantar.

As I understand, these are select patches from their other paid-for collections; you might want to take a look at those, and they do have sales every now and then.

I do have a few of their libraries. Can't afford the more expensive ones.  I just love the way the interface makes it easy to mix and match these sounds together. I know you can stack instruments in Kontakt but this interface is so much more appealing to me.

    Same here.  Love this.

Honestly, I grab a lot of these free libraries because, well, the price is right. But the sounds of these plus the functionality of the new UI makes it an instrument I'm more likely to reach for.  Don't want to give them any ideas but I could see myself paying for this/ future expansions.

  9. I didn't realize I'd grabbed the Intro when it was on offer. Downloaded it and a few minutes later, sprang for the upgrade.  Just lost a few hours playing with it.  Love it.

When I logged into my account it was still showing $99 until I clicked on the product description. Not sure if that'll help those of you who aren't seeing it. Good luck!

    What is SDS?

I think UDS is Ultra Deep Sampling and SDS is Super Deep Sampling. Basically SDS has less round robins and takes up less HD space.  They have a video out comparing the two.

  11. I swore by Mixcraft for years before finally getting into Studio One.  There are a few things I miss about MC (it seemed easier to jump in and sketch things out, for instance) but haven't really looked back unless I'm dealing with some old projects.

They made the price right, then they've screwed it up with 22GB of size🤦‍♂️. Should be 220MB.

Since the UDS and SDS are both showing 22GB, I'm guessing that's an error. Though I wouldn't expect it to get down into the sub GB range.  A few of the instruments on their site do, but not many.

    Yes, all very cheap 🤑
I have an Spectrum 48K at home and I am thinking to do something similar to $15 muhahahaha

I was only pointing out that the title didn't match the price listed. I wasn't commenting on the value of it. I believe that's up to the individual and how they'll use the library.
