  1. Hi well thanks chaps , all your comments mean a great deal t to me as Ive been using Bandlab for just over a year and I feel with every recording I´m making slight improvemants .You`re not going to blieve this but I mastered from wave onto mp3 and boosted the bottom end so that i could to post onto soundcloud and on uplouding to SC all the cymballs developed a chorus effect and were distorted so I deleted and posted just the wave file I´m not sure why this happened ? cheers P
  2. thanks Erik I do tend to struggle with the drums so thanks for the tips

  6. Hi chaps, well here´s the thing I always wanted to write a chugga chugga chugga type bass line rock song and I came up with this ,(work in progress ) its my first attempt so its not finished and the fill guitars need tweeking and I have no outro written as of today but I think you`ll get the jist of my timming problems Have a gander at my ``Rock n Roll cliche ´´ cheers PB RnR cliche MP3 demo.mp3
  7. Well I must agree with the ``playing in time comment ´´, as I usually do , thing is on this new song the bass line is a constant chugga chugga chugga thang and I was just trying to find am easy way out ,Oh well so I´ll just have to do a couple of punch-ins .
  8. Hi chaps , is there a way that I can, after recording a bass guitar (non vst) onto a track and then that recorded bass track convert to midi so that I then can quantizise for timing purposes . or are the live recorded sources auotmatically converted to midi through the auiio interface ? cheers

  16. Hi t, yes I ran out of steam towards the end I should have added another eight barres and then slowly faded out ; i try to keep within the 3:30 time limit which is silly really ,although there´s nothing worse than a song dragging for too long of which i am also previuosly gulity of , cheers Pb

  19. Thanks chaps for the really nice comments , and yes HS as i was writing the first to second verse I thought Uhmm that sopunds a bit ``squeezy´´ and it spurned me on to write in that vain so you`re right on the money there , I even got a thumbs up for the piano parts , not bad for a guitarist I thought ,its all a bit thumping keys with boxing gloves on type of style from me but if it works then dont fix it once again thanks for taking the time to comment cheers paul

  21. Thanks Douglas , this was the first mix that didnt need too much mixing if you get my drift , i was making many mistakes with pervious songs regarding the drum , vocal reverb cheers PB
