Nice...I just saw on KVR that this runs until Feb 3rd!!!  That can get me there!

Sorry Larry. Not sure why I posted the end date on one forum and not the other. I'm just going by what it says on their site anyway.

*The promo is valid from January 20 to February 3, 2020, 11:59 pm (GMT+1). Please note that Acustica Audio reserves the right to change, modify or terminate any promo at any time and without prior notice.

Hopefully they won't 'terminate the promo' before you can get in on it.

    Is it bigger ?

    Apparently not.

I held off on upgrading to VA-2 from the Session version when I tried it and discovered how small and fiddly the GUI was (IMO), and how much it irritated me to have to move between tabs and sub-tabs all the time. So I was excited to see that this had been released. Sadly I just demoed it and unless I'm missing something it's the same fiddly GUI with the same irritating tabs. I really hope I am missing something - the GUI seems to be exactly the same size.

  3. I don't mean to pour cold water on your enthusiasm, but in case it's helpful I would suggest that IMO this might not be an extraordinarily good deal. I have seen the Signature bundles drop as low as $59 (Waves price) more than once during sales. At everyPlugin with YNY23 this would presumably be more like $49, or even $39 (ref: http://forum.cakewalk.com/Waves-CLA-Signature-bundle-59-m3798174.aspx). So $6-8ish per plugin for a six plugin bundle. The Greg Wells bundle was $22.54 at everyPlugin during a half price sale in February of this year - less than $6 per plugin. Similar prices certainly but the drawback of the current offer is that you have to spend over $100 to get the per plugin cost down around the $6 mark. A good deal if you do really want three Signature bundles.

  4. Some may wish to note that the cheaper MAGIX stuff, e.g. Music Maker, tends to include adware which cannot be opted out of during install and which will pop up special offers on your desktop. Or at least it has been that way in the past. You have to uninstall an app called Connect to stop this happening. Sound Forge is not affected, to my knowledge.

  5. Ah, apologies.

They still show as half price for me when I add them to the cart, but I guess you're saying they can't be fulfilled anymore?

I've noticed an active GROUP code actually cancels the 50% discount for these items if that explains the discrepancy at all.

Just went to 'My Promotions' which show I have a few picks available.  Both Ampeg SVX and Ampeg SVX2 are still available for me.

Yes. The separate Ampeg SVX bundles - listed at 99.99 each - still qualify. But for the first several days of the promotion, the combo bundle of Ampeg SVX 1 & 2 - listed at 149.99 - was also on the list.  At least it was on the list at www.ikmultimedia.com/pickandmix/ .

So if, for instance, you have bought Amplitube 4 during the group buy, you will now have to use two of your credits to get both volumes, where based on what was originally advertised you should only have had to use one. Of course, "IK reserves the right to ... change or update information such as ... availability ... at any time without notice." I don't suppose it will affect that many people.
