  1. Hi, I'd like to say I liked Sonar UI new look, as well as improvements on brazilian portuguese language. Thank you bakers! I also would like to ask about Pro Channel Concrete Limiter, because I couldn't find it on Sonar (my previous paid software was Sonar Professional). Thanks!
  2. Wow, this looks cool! Thanks for sharing!
  3. Hi, I've always wanted to read memos I save on Browser Notes so I could find a specific project I'm looking for after a few months. It could be on Start Screen as well on Windows Explorer. Could this be possible? Thanks in advance!
  4. Hi, I'd like to report another issue related to expression content on Staff View. I guess it's a known issue and it happens when I write words like "segno", "coda" or "||", which I’ll finish on Musescore after exporting staff as MusicXML. The second step happens on Track View - if one cuts a midi clip containing those expressions the result is that last word written will be repeated where clip was divided. Does someone else has seen this? Thanks in advance!
  5. Hi, I've noticed Keyboard shortcuts customization on Preferences dialog box has changed to an odd behavior, as follows: 1. Enter Preferences dialog box 2. Choose Keyboard shortcuts to change key bindings 3. The Keyboard shortcuts / Preferences dialog box will disappear, like it has been closed 4. Click on CbB screen and Keyboard shortcuts dialog box will show again, ready to use. * It seems to me that this issue started with 2023.09 update. Any help will be much appreciated! Thanks!
  6. Hi, Supa Reels, thanks for the reply! I guess both tapes and videocassette player are good, as I can connect them to a television and the videos are OK! I believe it could be something related to Windows or my notebook. By the way I searched the expression "picture azimuth" and found some imagens of an artist which are close to what I got on my second EasyCap - a very buggy image! See an example: https://robsheridan.threadless.com/designs/analog-vhas-glitch-noise-01/home/rug/premium So as MyGica iGrabber is giving me a less buggy image I'll see if I can find a solution! However I'll try some drivers on the site Glenn Stanton sugested, for my first EasyCap! Thanks!
  7. Glenn Stanton, thanks for the reply, I'll try to download EasyCap drivers. By the way I had a PCI card that did a good job in 2000's, and this EasyCap was also good for what it had promised. Also I've seen some interfaces starting from U$200,00 but it's a bit pricey at the moment! I also bought a new EasyCap last month but VHS conversion was more buggy than this new one (MyGica iGrabber).
  8. Hi, I've recently bought a new video capture interface (entry level) because I replaced my Sata HD to a SSD drive, and unfortunately I forgot to save drivers nor I have the disk of my early interface (EasyCap type). However the new interface is not able to digitize VHS tapes correctly. Here's an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpc7hrNdhlc However if I capture from a DVD player the video stability improves, but it will lose resolution, like on the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XuzR69SCf7o Has anyone seen something like this? Thanks in advance!
  9. Hi, Max Arwood, thanks for the tip, but here it's not working! Anyway I assigned them as keybindings, but maybe it will be better to click the buttons like before! 🙂 Best regards,
  10. Hi, still talking about keyboard shortcuts on Staff View, I'd like to ask help on how to call Lyrics, Chords, Expression, Hairpin and Pedal using shortcuts. Because when I hover the mouse over these buttons it appears [Y] for lyrics, [C] for chords, [I] for expression, etc. But that doesn't seem to work! Thanks in advance!
  11. Hi, I'd like to ask help on MIDI exporting too! I was trying to export to midi those sounds from banks of patches, like those on TTS-1 (i.e., Electric Piano 1, bank 0, bank 1, bank 2, etc.) I saved some midi files and played back them on Windows Media Player, but different sounds from Electric Piano 1, as shown above, didn't take effect! However I tryied different rhythm bank of patches it seems it worked! Does someone could suggest me some reading or tutorial to help me on this? Thanks in advance!
  12. Thanks for the videos, those procedures resolved the problem! I was trying to select take lanes when mouse pointer was on "select mode", but selecting them with pointer on "isolate clip" mode (for comping) will do the trick! Thank you all for the replies! I agree take lanes and comping are a bit complex but when I have to record music I like to use comping mode. Although I feel it would be better to practice enough and record good takes, I've been using it due it's easy workflow.
  13. Hi, John Vere and Andres Medina! Thanks for the replies! Actually I knew how to set recording modes and also how to export take lanes to a single clip (at least I did it a few times). But for some reason I'm not getting the expected result! What I noticed is that best take lane will "survive" the clip rendering, but it seems I'm missing something. * I was wondering if I could "uncomp" the comp'd take lane! 🙂 Fortunately the troubled section was a repeated section so it was discarted as I finished the score on Musescore. But I'd like to know how I got in this issue! Thanks!
  14. Hi, I'm transcribing a song on Staff View but as I've been cutting it in sections, one part was divided on 2 take lanes. However I'm trying to export it to one single clip but one take lane always get excluded! I found out that the project was on Comping mode, so one take lane will be saved and the other will be lost. I tried to change the recording mode but it didn't help on exporting the clip. Is there a way to disable the comping take lane or maybe I'm missing something? Thanks in advance!
  15. Hi @msmcleod Thanks for the response! I'll try to check this out! Best regards
  16. Hi, I've been having an issue with Tempo Track, I guess it's already known! It happens when inserting a new tempo by double clicking on Tempo Track, sometimes a weird line will cross the space connecting the new node with another one, maybe from a similar height. It will produce more than one Tempo line. Unfortunately it's more frequent nowadays - maybe this frequency could be related to the recent update? Thanks in advance!
  17. Hi, I don't know if this is a known issue but I've had CbB closing without warning when drag and copy "expression" content in Staff View (words like "bend" or "fade out" written via Expression button on SV toolbar). However that will only happen when using Smart Tool to drag and copy (using Select Tool will do the trick).
  18. Hi @msmcleod Thank you very much for the explanation! It seems setting audio clip time base to absolute did the trick! Also changing midi clip's length to 200% looks essential to do the job! However I'd like to report an issue that occurred - all worked fine but midi clips start point didn't sync with audio clip and tempo map! But that was easily fixed moving them a few bars ahead. * There was 1 empty bar at the beginning, so after the procedure the song should start at bar 3, but it did on bar 4,5. I guess that happened because tempo map was not accurate, as my job was just transcribe music to score. Maybe some imprecisions, as well as fast curves, for ex., did this issue.
  19. Hi @David Baay I'd like to say that didn't work! However thanks for the suggestion, as it's an useful thing to do on other situation. The result was that audio clip followed tempo map and became 50 % stretched! Maybe I was not clear on OP! What I'm aiming to do is simply change midi/staff content to its double, like when one writes "quarter note is equal to half note" on music score, when changing 2/4 time signature to 2/2, for example. The result is that audio would be the same, but notation would change. I'll read more about Snap audio, but Tempo Track looks easier to deal with!
  20. Hi, David! Thanks for your response! I'll give it a try! Best regards
  21. Hi @mibby Thank you for the response! Despite I've read about reference tracks I still didn't use them! I'll try to change my habit including them on my mixes! Yes, that's important! Thanks for the reminder! Also sometimes I use LANDR and they have improved their preview options letting one upload a reference track for AI mastering, but I didn't use it too much. And another point is I still don't have a decent place and equipment to mix my recordings, but at least I have a few acoustic panels, which I belive are useful. Thanks for the feedback!
  22. Hi, I'd like to ask if is there an app similar to Audified Mixchecker? I've been testing my mixes on different sources and there's always something to be fixed! Mixchecker seems to be a nice tool to use but it's beyond my budget at the moment! @mibby suggested me https://www.tbproaudio.de/products/isol8 on Favorite Freeware FX Thread and it's a cool software but it's not so user friendly, as Mixchecker seems to work with presets that simulate different speakers. I read some articles on internet about different speakers and it's respective frequency bands but I feel lost on how to get the same result with Isol8. Does someone could suggest me some reading on this subject? Thanks in advance!
  23. Hi, I've been using Tempo Track to draw Tempo Map when I'm transcribing songs to music score. But I've always failed when trying to make Tempo Map get to half or double (when it's done) to fit audio music better. In an example, it's like when I thought a song was on 2/4 time signature but actually it is 2/2 - I want to keep the same beat so I'll need tempo map be 200% faster. If I use Offset Tempo Map on Tempo Track it will do the trick but it seems dots won't move horizontally (x axis) when working with audio files, it won't follow music anymore. However when using MIDI clips it will work fine. Does anyone knows a workaround to do this? Or maybe I'm missing something? Thanks in advance!
  24. Hi @RikF and @Bajan Blue , thanks for the feedback! I'll try to add more rythm and instruments to the song! My first intent was to do a chord melody version but after listening again to the original song I saw how other elements can add more interest! Best regards
  25. Hi, if someone could listen to the music above and leave a comment it will be much appreciated! I'm intending to improve my musical and mixing skills! Thanks in advance!
