So far as I have seen, they just updated the prices of the older plug-ins. UPDATE: I just looked at a few of the older AIR products at Plug-in Boutique. I do not see anything that says they have been updated. And, since the ratings are based on considerably lower prices some of their ratings are IMO grossly inaccurate. For example: [Image of "Value for Money" rating removed to reclaim the attachment space.] Unfortunately, they do not allow purchasers to change ratings as I found out when I wanted to upgrade a rating on a product because it had been greatly improved with a free-for-life update since the time I got it from Plug-in Boutique.

For those who may wonder about interconnectivity between Voltage Modular and Cakewalk (not sure if it works in other DAWs since I don't have regularly use others): As commented elsewhere in the forum, instances of Voltage Modular can be inserted in CbB. One possible use is for essentially an FX rack. Another is for CV --> MIDI processing of exposed parameters for soft synths hosted in Cakewalk. YMMV depending on your creativity, experimentalism, and personal workflow. Using VM as an FX rack is straight forward; using VM's Super LFO (or an Envelope Generator/VCA pair) to automate BPM-based changes to hosted soft synth parameters such as filter (cutoff, resonance, drive, contour) takes a little more planning.

It depends on your needs. They have a demo. JMO: Don't get the 14-day trial and then forget about it until after the exclusive deal is over!!! UPDATE: Re: Demo (14 days v. 7 days): See BTP post and link (immediately below). I just copied the 14-day blurb from PA's site since it was right next to the Rackmode video. Since I am not a PA member, I defer to those of you who are.

Where is this phrase used and defined? Update: I just googled "IK Amplitube Locker. In one of the page 1 "hits," it says "All available gear from the AmpliTube locker can be seen below." I went directly to the page and did Ctrl+F to find "locker" but it wasn't on the page. Using Ctrl+F I looked for "Amplitube" and looked at all 39 instance of the word. Not one of those instances had any word near it related to "All available gear," "gear," "locker," etc. If I hadn't known to look up "locker," I never would have seen that phase. That phrase does not appear on the page Google allegedly found it. Update # 2: I looked at the source code: I hope IK's website team (whether its in-house or out-sourced) can fix this and any other problems of a similar nature. Update # 3: I finally found where the phrase in question is embedded in the page, but it took a while. IK might know what that means and where it is, but customers might have never seen that page and/or that statement and might have no idea what "the Amplitube locker" means. Feel free to relay my thoughts, too. It took a while to figure out the root of the confusion. I'd like the time I spent put to good use, meaning: please help facilitate IK's taking ownership for the confusion problem.

TIPS: I usually download important images before deleting them. Even if I have the original, its usually easier to find the downloaded one. Also, if I have posted a graphic in a post that several people have liked/found useful, I tend to leave it--unless CbB has changed and it is out-of-date. Sometimes I will reduce the size and re-upload the smaller version for images that others users seem to have found useful. You probably know this, but maybe not: Deleting an image from the text potion of a post does not delete it from your allotment. You need to use the trash can icon below the post (in the attachments section).

They already have one. They just prefer to call it a group buy, for some reason. All the group buys I have participated in or seen do not reduce costs based on what consumers previously paid for.

I reverted to 2.0.4 so I can continue to use the edit/panel toggle. This will remind me not to buy Synth-X because I really don't need it! Its part of my Black Friday Sales strategy to save money for an SSD.

This is one of the things that can cause consumer confusion. I just looked. I did not see the virtual X-Gear (software products) on this comparison chart. I did not see them in the linked "Gear included in AmpliTube 5 MAX" PDF ("Document Version: 5.0.3 Latest Update: 2021/05/03".) Yet, I saw them on one of the web pages. My recollection is that they were added into an AT5 Software Update so people could purchase them on an a la carte basis, they were included in some promotions, sales, etc., and they were included in a Total Studio MAX bundle--either 3 or 3.5, I forget which. If my memory is correct, they are not part of the AT5 Max product. (Feel free to correct my memory.) Also, It wouldn't hurt to contact support as part of a pre-purchase decision. If you look at the list of what's included in Total Studio 3.5 MAX, there's this: From the layout, consumers might infer that the new pedals were added to AmpliTube 5 MAX, but (and I could be wrong) it is more likely that the "all new virtual X-GEAR pedals" were added to the Total Studio 3.5 MAX bundle, not AT5 MAX. If I am right, they could have said, " . . . plus as part of this TOTAL STUDIO bundle we're adding . . . ." Caveat Emptor!!!!! From what I can see, MB2 was added after Total Studio 3.5 MAX came out, was not included in Total Studio 3.5 MAX, was never part of AT5 MAX, and is not part of the current sale. As I have said before, Peter does what he can on behalf of consumers. I don't think he or IK is intending to deceive consumers. Hope this helps. PS: I just checked the Custom Shop program. Under AmpliTube 5 MAX - Amplitube 5 MAX Collection, the individual virtual X-Gear products are not there (either as owned or available as a la carte purchases). However, they are listed under Stomp > ALL. To me this is further evidence that they are available for purchase individually but are not included in AT5 MAX.

Thanks for the clarification of the steps. I did a Rollback and re-installed EA build 012. It works now, but I think it was user error on my part when I was trying it before.

Thanks for working on the "Replace Audio FX" feature request. Is this ^^^ supposed to be working yet? It didn't work for me in build 09 or 12. I tried holding down CTRL just when selecting the replacement effect as well as when opening up the menu. I also tried both the left and right CTRL key and Shift+Ctrl just in case that would work on non-chains. In all cases, only one FX plug-in was replaced; the others didn't close. Again, thanks for working on this feature.

JMO: Its a marketing strategy to promote the "modular" nature of Zebra 2.
