  1. Who makes good breakout box pitchwheels?
  2. For $6 how can you go wrong with the SORE cinematic loop module? The Electro House has a compelling demo.

  6. I found a way to unsubscribe but can't remember how. It took a lot of time and effort to figure out. Missed a deal on a nice jazz guitar at a killer price but dozens of emails per week were killing me.
  7. That 303 demo sounds good.
  8. Thanks @Christian Jones - much appreciated. You are a class act!
  9. Sorry didn't mean to hurt any feelings. My point, poorly expressed, was that a woman's clothing site is not likely to be a trustworthy seller of USA made electronics, particularly at those deep discounts. I also don't find PayPal to be a fantastic source of protection so look at that as a last resort rescue. So I would avoid that sale.
  10. Awesome build. Tom's hardware estimates 9900k idle at 13 watts and torture test at 249 watts with 5.0GHz overclock (I think you would need a more serious cooling lol). If you run less/no overclock, power consumption is much lower. 700 watt should be fine IMHO although if you are using the CPU and GPU aggressively, you might want a bit more headroom. https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/intel-core-i9-9900k-9th-gen-cpu,5847-11.html https://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator https://www.evga.com/power-meter/
  11. This has 3 downloads. 8DIO_Free_Angels.part2.rar contains 260 files (475,817,741 unpacked size). Oddly, I see all 260 of those files are included at the bottom of the 8DIO_Free_Angels.part1.rar 260 files (475,817,741 unpacked size). Same unpacked sizes and I eyeballed a few dozen long file names for sanity. Packing sizes differ (so maybe from different compression scheme). What's up with that?? EDIT - the product web page mentions over 1.4GB and 684 samples. In the 8DIO_Free_Angels installed I find about that, so I think 8DIO just duplicated some of the samples in part2, making it superflus, but confusing.
  12. Very fast run on the modal runs. I wouldn't know what to do with it so left the 198 or so copies to others. Impressive demo samples to listen to. I'll bet a lot of people just buy the runs.
  13. That is also available in m.2 form factor at 2TB for same price from WD store.
  14. I just downloaded Free Kontakt Player as noted above.
  15. Free Embertone Arcana worked for me at $124 crossgrade pricing. Needs to be downloaded, installed and running in Native Access & (Free) Kontakt Player 6. Log into above link, select crossgrade from drop down box and you should not see "None of the qualifying products are registered to your account" but rather some text like "your Arcana registration qualifies you for crossgrade". Tried Senn DrumMic'A first, but that did not work.
  16. I was on the waiting list for 5 minutes and just picked this up. 106$ free shipping (I am not Amazon Prime member) I have been a big Samsung fan but this is too cheap and read speeds are too fast to pass up. EDIT -thanks @Reid Rosefelt
  17. That percussion demo on soundcloud sounds pretty good...
  18. Check out pocketmags for discounts on digital versions of some good music magazines. These are in digital form, and I think their reader is excellent; they have some demos to give you an idea how it works. pocketmags has different offers by country. Also, some of the CD/DVD content with physical magazines may or may not be downloadable. Some examples follow https://pocketmags.com/us/magazine-offers/blackfriday-musicfilm EDIT - the discount % shown on the pocketmags site is "optimistic" so recalculate on your own to see the real discount offered lol.
  19. Beautiful UIs. That is a lot of synths and I'll be happy to take them for a spin.
  20. Several years ago I went to the store looking for a beginner classical guitar with my semi-pro guitarist buddy. He said to try a bunch out below, at and above price range. That was great advice. He also tried them. We both agreed the entry level Yamaha sounded and played better than anything up to about $800. Obviously there were differences in materials, finish and workmanship...probably durability. But that Yamaha cost under $250 and held up pretty well; still sounds nice. So cost and reviews don't get you too far IMHO.
