  1. Hi Canopus - Thanks for the instructions on how to try this. I have seen the other threads but they were a bit confusing.
  2. Does anyone know if these still install the channel strip modules for each plugin? Alternatively - If I install them and someone sends me the channel strip file from an older install will that make them work as a channel strip plugin?
  3. I cant bring myself to watch the video. Does this really have two Eqs? - three bells and two shelves - Where? The Blurb; Two Classic EQs on Every ChannelThe Lindell emulation combines two Helios EQs in one channel strip. First, there’s the Pre-EQ-69, a 3-band active bell filter loved for musical-sounding boosts and cuts that can add presence and air without harshness and fullness to lows without excessive rumble. Then, there’s the Passive 69, a 2-band shelving EQ with a smooth, musical response for adding depth, warmth, and detail with minimal additional coloration.
  4. Craig Anderton's SOS column covered this in great depth Sonar: Making A Virtual Drum Room You would probably need to replace the old CakewalkFx delay with something else. I have used this method and it works well. Cheers
  5. The thread about getting Pentagon 1 running by correcting registry issues, makes me wonder if the display problem with RGC instruments in Reason is similar in nature. Background; Legacy Cakewalk instruments don't display in Reason. You can load them and they work fine but the GUI will not display. It's not the end of the world. I have made up combinator panels in Reason to access effects like Z3ta-1fx and the PX and VX strips. And If I really want to use Rapture & Dim Pro in Reason, I use Kushview Element to load them. But I have always wondered if the problem is probably something that permissions/registry related. Something that stops Reason loading the graphics. Does anyone know the nature of the problem?
  6. Thanks S.Cook for those vids of super deep skills. Ye gads. The Bluecat method - Having an layer of interactive grouping plugins - That is wild.
  7. Thanks Chris.r I have been using Process>Find/Replace constantly for many years. Mainly to edit velocity. In all the years I have had that ugly box open, It never occurred to me that Min=127 & Max=0 would invert values.
  8. Hi I'm trying to find a way to create a inverted automation envelope. I don't think there is a way to "flip" an envelope. But if I convert it to CC values in the PRV, maybe there is a CAL out there that could invert the values relative to the centre value. And then by converting it back to an envelope, I should have something usable. I have been looking through my CAL folder but haven't found anything as yet. Does anyone know of a CAL that could do this - Or a better method? Thanks
  9. So glad to see this forum and Cakewalk is still going strong after the darkness of the Gibson debacle. Having to start finding and learning new DAWs to replace Sonar was a miserable experience. Although I did end up adopting Reason, but not as a replacement. It turned out to be an excellent extension of Cakewalk when used as a plugin. I always start my music tech browsing from here. And without the lens this forum provides I could not process what seems like an unfeasible amount of music software out there. Cakewalk seems to be now better than ever. Many of the new versions have done away with some of the annoying quirks that Sonar had. The spirit of this forum is excellent
  10. Does anyone know how long this deal will last? Thanks
