  1. +1 Cakewalk already has buses, aux tracks, and folders. Most of the time when we group tracks in a folder, they are routed to a single bus. Making the folder name a bus instead of simply a folder name can make the track view much cleaner in my opinion. Similar to how Reaper does when a track is routed to a bus, the tracks routed to that is then indented a bit to the right and the parent track is the parent folder also. Want to see this in a future release
  2. You guys probably heard of TC Helicon Guitar Pro, Orange Omec Teleport, and the Hotone Jogg. All of these are audio interfaces that specializes on the guitar, giving the players the ability to tweak the tone, record, and return the signal to be played on an amp or headphones. So here's the thing, how are your experiences with these products (or interfaces that do the same - return the sound from a plugin/DAW in an unbalanced output i.e. guitar amp). Are these advisable for serious recording situations, and can these be used live (as an alternative to pedalboards)?
  3. Hi guys. Any experiences with the Link Digital (the audio interface one). Does it compare with other cheap interfaces such as Behringer UM2, etc.
  4. Hope this discussion can help others as well. So as a student with only 1 source of funds (my parents), they'll only give me as much as Php8000 (~ $160 US) which is already enough to get me EITHER an Audio Interface OR a 49-Key MIDI Keyboard. I'm mainly a guitar player. I do have a band but due to the pandemic, we rarely get to compose songs as a band. My band and I mainly play acoustic, ballads, pop, and rock. So which should I get first?
  5. When reading the documentation and other guides within the app, when exporting to Bandlab it supposed to just update the existing project with the name. This happens normally when I export multiple times during a day. But I'm pretty sure there are people who work in a span of days or even weeks and when I export to Bandlab with the exact same name with the project I already had, it instead creates a new project everytime. I hope this would be fixed or maybe just let us choose a project, not necessarily with the same project name to make it more convenient. Thanks!
  6. Hi! I know it seems like a beginner question but it's because I am one. The pro-channel is cool, it contains a lot of ready to use modules, EQ and you can even add an FX Chain to add your effects. But what is its purpose if you can also add effects below the prochannel? And when using reverb, compressors, eq. Which one should I use? The prochannels or to just add the effects?
  7. I tried to download Cakewalk on my Win10 Home 64 bit laptop, and my internet speed is about 600kb/s. So I left my laptop to download it and after 4 hours, it says only 1/3 downloaded (I selected the instruments, melodyne and theme editor add-on). Is it that large?
