I was also getting that error, then downloaded and installed the latest 8DIO downloader and that fixed the issue for me.

These are the sounds that I can take credit for. One of them is unprocessed, the other 3 were heavily processed through "creative" effects, primarily PSP N2O and Pulsar Echorec respectively Homebody Designed II G5 - N2OClothesDryerFinish G#5 - PulsarEchorecKettlePouring Homebody Percussion I C4 - N2ODoorlockClose D4 - DoorlockOpen And, if someone is curious about the "before and after" and how much the processing changed the original sound, here is the full submission https://1drv.ms/u/s!AprFlDcoRnnogc_1b9HRGct1055dOL8

And Unify 1.7 is arriving on Wednesday -
It's a lot of sounds to browse through but I did find one of my contributions in it 😀

Pretty interesting if you combine it with Softube Modular (warning: don't do this on an old/low powered cpu)

Blue Cat Axiom available in the Streamworks Store
Eusebio Rufian-Zilbermann replied to cclarry's topic in Deals
No, it was funny, because some companies do put their audio software on Steam (which I always thought was as good a pairing as beer and strawberry cake) and I did picture it for a moment starting steam and instead of playing Rocksmith, launching BC Axiom and playing music instead Actually, even without the typo there is a good chance that my brain would still have processed it as something related to Steam 😉 -

Dec 8: Movie Score Song Collection vol 3 $699.75 for unlimited commercial use ($249.75 for standard commercial, $12.49 for non-commercial) https://producerplanet.com/us/article/movie-score-song-collection-vol-3-3286/?license=commercial_unlimited I've been updating the thread for completeness but I wonder who is the target market for these song collections. I hope the next windows in the advent calendar start showing up more soundpools, virtual instruments or effects. If it's more song collections I'll probably skip them.

Fanatical Music Bundle 2 by MAGIX

Dec 6: 90's Hip Hop Complete Bundle $12.49 (non-commercial $6.24) https://producerplanet.com/us/article/90s-hip-hop-complete-bundle-10249/?license=commercial_unlimited Parts 1, 2 or 3 $4.99 (non-commercial $2.49) https://producerplanet.com/us/article/90s-hip-hop-9558/?license=commercial_unlimited https://producerplanet.com/us/article/90s-hip-hop-part-2-9560/?license=commercial_unlimited https://producerplanet.com/us/article/90s-hip-hop-part-3-9559/?license=commercial_unlimited @kitekrazy - yeah, I'm not interested in license-restricted versions either, that's why I mention the royalty-free price first and post the links to them. I probably won't make money with music based on these loops but I don't like having to worry about it (will my YouTube videos ever get some monetization? who knows). I guess that for some people, having the option is a good thing and, as long as unencumbered versions are available I'm fine. It's a little annoying however, that the commercial prices aren't shown in the main pages and you have to dig a little deeper for every single one of them

Magix has started their advent sales for producerplanet.com Dec 4: Ambient Chillout Sessions collection $19.99 (or $9.99 for non-commercial use) https://producerplanet.com/us/article/ambient-chillout-sessions-4450/?license=commercial_unlimited I think it's not exactly midnight CET (Germany) when the deal ends, that they apply a 2h "grace period", but I'm not entirely sure. If you miss a deal, maybe they will repeat it at the end of the sale (that's what they did last year). As a reminder: you probably want to buy vouchers from https://www.fanatical.com/en/bundle/fanatical-music-bundle-2-by-magix (2x$20 vouchers, plus other products, for $10) and use them to further reduce the price. Only 1 voucher and 1 product per purchase is allowed. Any leftover money after applying the voucher will be lost, and it's all "buy it now" (there is no "cart", you cannot buy 2x$10 products with one $20 voucher, you cannot stack vouchers to get a more expensive item)

This weekend - Score: Mystic Dreams $8.99 for the commercially licensed option (or $4.99 for the non-commercial) https://producerplanet.com/us/article/mystic-dreams-4336/?license=commercial_unlimited This Soundpool contains all loops from 'FilmMusic Vol. 2' of 'Soundpool DVD Collection 2004' (Note: right now for $1 more you can get the "Music Bundle 2 by Magix" at fanatical.com that includes 2x$20 vouchers, applicable to this or many other soundpools)

These other algorithmic generators may be interesting for adding to the shopping basket as well https://www.adsrsounds.com/product/software/hexcel/ https://www.adsrsounds.com/product/software/midi-grid/ They're not on sale but they are just $5 (alternatively, keep them on the wishlist, for those months when you're interested in the freebie and there aren't other interesting sales)

The Annual "Show us Your Booty" from BF Thread!
Eusebio Rufian-Zilbermann replied to cclarry's topic in Deals
I think Steinberg grants you an automatic upgrade to the version that is current at the time of registration (that's what I got when I registered a cheap, old copy of Dorico 1.0 that I found and they gave me a free upgrade to 3.5)
