  1. My emails from March 2020 To: contact@hexachords.com Hello, I was evaluating the purchase of Orb Composer Artist and when I came to the orb-composer website I don't see any information about it. Is the product being discontinued? If yes, is there a planned upgrade to the Orb Producer Suite? Cheers, Eusebio === From: jmlange@hexachords.com Hello, no, we have decided to sell it only on pluginboutique. Try Orb Producer, it’s our brand new product 🙂 Best regards, Jean-Michel Langé Sales and Marketing manager
  2. Thank you very much @Starship Krupa for the links! The idea of the golden waveforms is new for me and sounds very interesting.
  3. For reference, this is the review I was referring to
  4. https://www.tone2.com/shop.html Icarus 2 Synthesizer €149/$169 Big bundle, 66% discount €299/$349 Sounds bundle, 72% discount €189/$199 Electra 2.8 Synthesizer €149/$169 Big bundle, 74% discount €299 $349 Sounds bundle, 86% discount €189/$199 Gladiator 3 Synthesizer €149/$169 Big bundle, 36% discount €249/$299 Nemesis 2 Synthesizer €99/$99 Big bundle, 63% discount €199/$199 Sounds bundle, 56% discount €139/$149 RayBlaster 2.6 Synthesizer €99/$99 Big bundle, 60% discount €199/$199 Sounds bundle ,54% discount €119/$129 Saurus 3.0 Synthesizer €59/$69 Big bundle, 53% discount €199/$199 Sounds bundle, 56% discount €139/$149 (Note: I just came across these because Zo's old review of Nemesis suddenly popped up in my YouTube recommendations. I'm not sure if it's really a sale or just a "perma-sale")
  5. Ok, I'll give away my "secret sauce". The free tool I regularly use in projects is sbagen https://uazu.net/sbagen/ , to generate a track that sets the appropriate mood One reason for seldom using freebies is that generally for the ones that I like I end up purchasing the corresponding "big brother". Maybe that's a different thread "Which freebies encouraged you to upgrade to a paid product?" One plugin that I also use frequently is hornet elliptiq https://www.hornetplugins.com/plugins/hornet-elliptiq/. Technically it's not free but, when Hornet has a sale (that is, most of the year), it costs less than an issue of Beat magazine or Computer Music magazine at the newsstand.
  6. Waves Retro Fi is $39.99 at waves.com but some stores still have the earlier discounted price $29.99 The interesting part is that now that Waves Cash coupons are out, they can be used to further lower the price The Waves Cash instructions indicate that coupons can be redeemed on Waves.com or through all authorized Waves dealers. I tried a few online discounters and none of their checkout systems accepted the Waves Cash coupon directly, but I contacted the sales engineer at Sweetwater that handles my orders and he was able to apply it and send me a Paypal invoice for $19.99 + tax https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/RetroFi--waves-retro-fi-lo-fi-fx-chain-plug-in bestservice.com may have even better prices although, due to timezone differences and support hours, I didn't want to risk the price changing while the emails went back and forth. If they still have the same price tomorrow it may be a good option for people in Europe or early risers in the US https://www.bestservice.com/retro_fi.html (Note: I know that everyplugin.com tends to have the best price for Waves. I did contact Koby but they are already using the updated $39.99 price and he wasn't able to apply the Waves Cash and other discounts to bring it lower than Sweetwater)
  7. This Weekend - Pop-Rock: Rock City $8.99 for the commercially licensed option (or $4.99 for the non-commercial) https://producerplanet.com/us/article/rock-city-4357/?license=commercial_unlimited This soundpool contains all loops from 'RockPop Vol. 5' of 'Soundpool DVD Collection 12'.
  8. NLE for Video/Audio/etc 100% discount until the end of the day (Timezone US EST) https://sharewareonsale.com/s/free-turbo-play-100-discount I didn't even know until today that this software existed, but the list of features is rather extensive. Here are some of the Audio related ones VST 3.x support MP3,WAV,FLAC,OGG,MID and MUSICXML,SF2,SFZ format support 8+GB Orchestra samples and drumkits Unlimited tracks AI experimental features (Audio to midi, Auto Harmony, Speech to Text) multiband configuration for any effect/VST Byzantine composer Advanced ear training
  9. Available in German from the falkemedia website now https://www.falkemedia-shop.de/sound/beat/beat-02/2022 The English version is not out yet. I guessed the answer to the challenge because it's an amusing game, but I will definitely definitely buy it when it comes out. I compared the offered selection of AAS expansions to the list of expansions I'm still missing. The only one that I didn't find in the selection was Analog Orchestra, the other 21 that I was missing were all available The last 4 letters of my AAS coupon are **** [Edited by Moderator], it will be interesting to compare with others and see if it's a generic or customized code The biggest headline on the front cover is the key point of the issue. You want to know how to get that done [Let's avoid posting codes that are intended for existing customers, that's a no-no from the vendors.]
  10. For anybody who likes making the purchase that gets the Group Buy to the next tier, here is your chance...
  11. And Waves Cash vouchers were sent out earlier today, check your inboxes if applicable.
  12. What would you get if someone gave you a $75 voucher today?
  13. My $25 ends in "t62uAI". Perhaps someone else with a $25 can confirm it theirs is different or the same
  14. Does anybody know if some new plugins are expected to come out later this month from PA? (is it worth "reserving" one of the monthly vouchers for later?)
  15. Happy new year to everyone and may 2022 finally bring to all of us that magical plugin that money can't buy... the one that gives the inspiration and talent to convert all the GAS into great music!
  16. https://www.magzter.com/microsoft-rewards
  17. The picture says "Freie auswahl aus 50 packs", which google translates as "Free selection of 50 packs"
  18. My main point is that it is confusing Overall, 89.28 is a pretty good price for Smart:limit, VG2 Iron and HOF3 Vintage Legends. Interestingly, the VG Iron 2 upgrade is no longer available at UJAM but they still have it at Best Service. (Something that maybe I can complain about is that a €20 discount is not a $19 discount...)
  19. For me, the cart was $60.79 and the actual invoice $89.28 Probably there are some greedy government bureaucrats out there who would love to impose a 47% sales tax but I don't think that's what happened here
  20. If you run into CPU issues with VSTi's you may want to look into something like discoDSP Bliss (currently on sale https://www.adsrsounds.com/product/software/discodsp-bliss-sampler-instrument/) Also, it's very interesting to see that Studio One does a good job balancing the processing across threads. For DAWs that don't do it (or, to use as a performance host), there's always pluginguru's Unify
  21. Space Guitars! Wow, this is the first time I've heard a demo for a loop library that reminds me of Dave Brock It's the end of the shopping season and time to slow down, but this is going on my wish list for next year. @Beastsamples please keep us up to date with future sales!
  22. Happy Retirement! (but please don't retire yet from this forum)
  23. De 26: All deals are back https://producerplanet.com/us/list/advent-calender-2697/
  24. For me it showed up automatically, and it sounds pretty unusual for them to stop providing an upgrade path, but I guess anything is possible. I would contact their support.
