Here's a nice written review https://bedroomproducersblog.com/2022/04/05/crystalline-review/
-
One demo showed it has resizable GUI.
-
Don't forget the $100 voucher!
-
Also includes a $100 coupon. It's been on my radar and I ran out of resistance.
-
Anybody buy this? To me it looks very odd and vague.

PB did a pretty in depth interview with the developer. I’ve always ignored this synth but have changed my mind. https://youtu.be/w9LkAI9f0qg

I own Synomyn, Atlas, Cosmos, Resonic Pro, XO, ADSR Mgr, etc., with Synomyn being my current favorite. I've got over a miliion audio sample and MIDI files. I absolutely LOVE how Fyler displays MIDI file notes and can also play them. I think only Resonic Pro plays MIDI, but it doesn't show the notes. I also like the star rating and favoriting features. The one thing that it needs immediately is the ability to autoplay as you arrowdown a list. I also use Cakewalk to preview MIDI with a VST instrument, but a sample manager provides so much other info that I have to use both. Fyler ability to show the actual MIDI notes may be a gamechanger for me. Only time will tell.

So far I've been able to resist. I know 12gb is supposed to be a good thing, but it makes me think twice. That all said, John will probably talk me into it today. 😖 It's silly, but my favorite thing about this is the stadium vocal lol

Powerful, but a bit CPU heavy.

Trying the demo now. I have a ton of granular effects, but this one can create much more musical results instead of always over-the-top mangling. I really like it.

Keep in mind the knobs unit is basically a single console channel strip and only works on one track at a time. It controls a software EQ and compressor. The fader is basically gain only, but controls 10 tracks at a a time.
-
Ultimately, it's way easier and faster to use your mouse. Sadly.
-
I have one. It was incredibly cool initially. However, I've gone back to just using the DAW knobs. Keep in mind, you have to have a plug-in on every single channel it controls.

This is an Ableton Live screenshot 🤔
-
His number-of-notes triggers takes it to another level.

The pattern UI is genius. Must have taken ages to make all the presets. It would be cool if he made a MIDI effect plug-in using the same engine.

Not sure why this wasn't on my radar. Great sounding synth. I was just looking at this yesterday, but balked at the $199 price. No brainer at $29.

Sweetwater has Expansion Bundle Pick 5 for $224 which is a couple bucks less. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/AvengerXP5Pk--vengeance-sound-vps-avenger-expansion-pack-pick-5

My gawd they are expensive!

Best Service has Vengeance Sound's Avenger for $140.68 (36% off normal $220) On the Vengeance Sound site, there's only a 25% off coupon, so $165 net. I think a read the last day was today, the 16th. I'm not sure if Best Service will follow, but it would seem likely. https://www.bestservice.com/avenger.html

I didn't see a trial version.

This is an awesome sounding synth. Love it.

Potentially good news: I wrote the developer and was told "an update currently in the works which aims to simplify the preset browsing experience." Fingers crossed.

I picked it up as well. Too bad it's such a pain to audition presets. As far as I can tell, you have to navigate to each one to audition. No separate instruments or snapshots. Dumb.
