Out of curiosity, what do you find weird--the UI? the synth engine/architecture? the sounds it can make?  something else?

I ask because I found it very straightforward and logically laid out.

I don't mean weird in a bad way. Just not your normal synth. Setting harmonics in a synth osc is new to me. Also, took me a minute to figure out how to modulate parameters. No drag and drop for user samples. Not overly difficult to get a grasp of, for sure.

I checked to see if I owned the original and I got that for $17.50.   Was that a BF deal?

Still,  this is a major upgrade.  As I've never used Animation Station once, this is something I really need.  😃

Yeah, they were giving it away last year. I've been kicking myself since then for not picking it up. I think it was a mid-summer deal.

  3. Pretty cool sample glitch generator. There's other ways to do this, but this plug-in makes it dead simple. I also like bom shaka's chrisGlitch plugin.

Add the plugin to the cart to see the discount. Note that I had to click Add to cart twice before it actually added it.

The technique is demonstrated in depth by Tristan in his _Futurephonic Masterclass that starts at 18 minutes, 38 seconds here (If you're not opposed to FB) https://www.facebook.com/Futurephonic/videos/528464007872830

I don't think this is Spice3d's work. Unless he can't believe his own work is free. I guess that is possible. However, Adam Szabo is the developer and there is no indication that he and Spice3d are one and the same. In fact Spice3d bought Viper and JP6K  a year ago so...

Yeah, I prolly should have edited Adam's email before I pasted...but I was trying to beat Larry and, you know, seconds matter HAHA...

I own 3 plugins and with a referral code and 10 credit discount I get the price for the MCreative FX bundle down to €131.

I was thinging of buying the Cab one when it goes on sale for more than 50% but this deal is looking good (despite the fact that I already have all the effects by other devs.)

Just saw thought that the Mturbo Reverb is an LE version. What's with that when none of the other plugins in the bundle are light?

Other alternative is that I just wait for Softube Speaker Shaper to go down to €10 in a sale...which it most likely will the way things are going.

I’ve been waiting for Cab as well. It’s included in the CreativeFX bundle which is $53 for me so that’s what I’ll do for sure, but $253 for the Complete is compelling. I believe Melda does free lifetime upgrades and new plugins added to bundles. It feel like I’m always wanting one of their plugins, so perhaps it’s time to just bite the bullet. 🤔

  7. The standout Chordjam feature for me was that the arp mode can be different for each chord. So passing chords can do an arp flourish leading into the next chord. I don’t think I’ve seen this before. I only noticed it watching a vid on new presets.

I just look at this as another tool, not a replacement for scaler. For pure chord progressions, it’s scaler, hands down. I do find that they’ve crammed so many features into scaler, they need to rethink the UI. Too much is buried into menus and panels. Powerful, but ya gotta spend the time to learn it. Guess that’s why they offer classes on it. It’s a beast for sure.

I'd like to hear from the average joe instead of those who use higher end stuff.   When Gigastudio was king and those libraries were pricey, I was thrilled to get all of the sounds in Kontakt 2.

Still debating on other stuff to install.

The average user doesn't really need K7 unless it's player products.   It looks more like a phone app.

Me too. I'm at 13 Standard. Only $99 up upgrade to 14 std, so assuming I "needed" Kontakt 7, there's prolly enough new stuff to justify the upgrade. But honestly, so far, I am unable to convince myself I should. Pretty sad cuz I'm easily convinced LOL.

I've also looked at what upgrading to 14 Ultimate or CE would bring and I'm totally underwhelmed. I rarely, if ever, reach for NI stuff. I'm also not a Kontakt fan to say the least. I only use it cuz I have to.
