  1. Does anyone have any experience with cloning NVME drives?  I'd like to replace the 1TB NVME M2 drive I have in with 2 TB version.  I have two slots - ideally, I'd like to pop both in, boot to a USB drive, and somehow clone one to the other.

@huskerThat's a great thread idea! What's on your Christmas/Chanukah/etc list? You should do it! It would be fun.

I'll take a serious cop out on this - I'll ask for peace on earth and good will toward all.

I've been back on the forum only a few days.  I had been gone for about two months, mostly due to an all expenses paid vacation to a current regional hot spot courtesy of the United States Department of Defense.  Close by, people live in abject povery with the threat of a madman escalating an already atrocious situation.  One can't express how humbling that is to me.

I know the forum here represents many different global locales, but the vast majority of us are so lucky in life, we can't imagine anything else.

I could put together a list of stuff, but realistically, I have everything I could ever want.

What? I use Melodyne all the time.  And I use the polyphonic features of Editor/Studio often enough to make that upgrade worthwhile. Apparently your takes are always good enough to be useable.  I wish mine were. Or maybe I'm too picky and always find something to "fix". Melodyne has been a life saver to me several times. it is so nice to change an E chord to Em without having to re-record, or for polyphonic audio-midi conversion for sample replacement.

Well, in all honestly, its more like I don't sing at all, and my guitar playing is, well, Mrs. Husker is very glad for earphones....

  5. Celemony sent out some coupon codes in September (don't know what for), but mine came in on September 8th.   It was for $20 off at the Celemony store, but said it had an expiration date of 10/4.   I tried it, and it still works, makeing the upgrade cost from Essential to Assistant $49.   May be worth a look in your email.

  6. The culture of the forum certainly has changed since he left, and  I don't think for the better.  His wealth of knowledge really sparked some interesting threads here, and that just doesn't occur much anymore.  I used to visit this forum multiple times a day, now sometimes I'll go days without visiting at all.   I never was a huge contributor, but I gained quite a bit of knowledge.   Now, it just really isn't worth the time much anymore.  If you recall, we had to lobby to create this sub forum in the wake of the Cakewalk demise, now I wouldn't be surprised if it is just removed if it dies any more - it really doesn't have anything to do with Cakewalk.   I miss Larry, but I don't think he is coming back either.   I probably wouldn't - shoot, one poster here in the aftermath called Larry's personal beliefs/ideologies "unethical."    Why would he stick around?
