Alright, sounds like still worth of trying out then. Cheers!
-
Thanks!
You think the new versions updated for CakeLab, with new toolbars like the export one, can be still backwards compatible with Sonar Platinum?
-
Thanks for your efforts gents!

Yes, lovely.

I understand that general is more for a discussion and q&a for quick answers that can be later searched and found easily (when marked 'answered').

Speaking about small controllers, there's the relatively new icon platform m+. Do we have anybody, trying to connect that one with Cakewalk, on the forum?
-
Thanks Matthew, that would be delicious!

There used to be a key combo in previous Sonar versions just for deleting the last take without even stopping the whole loop-recording process, not shure if it was Ctrl+Spacebar maybe? Does it still apply in CakeLab (and the most recent Sonar version)?

Preview? What Preview?
Ach sorry, I mean pictures showing how the skins look (like in the other "Gran Vista" topic). If that's too much work then nevermind. Cheers!
EDIT: Alright I've just read the description, I think best will be to load the skins in Cakewalk to see them.

Would be great to see some more and closer previews of them. Hopefully that's not too much effort asked for.

It's exactly the same as a mouse wheel, so if the plugin supports a mouse wheel, then you can use it.
Thanks! That sounds like my next amazon buy when's time to change the mice. And the price looks good too.

A mouse takes up far too much desk room. I use one of these:
Looks interesting., Can you use the scroll ring for controlling plugin fx/synth's knobs and sliders, without installing any additional software?

how cool is that for quick eye-based signal leveling by just selecting a portion of waveform and ctrl+drag the clip gain to create 2 new nodes and visually level audio of that portion in one smart move, isn't it

Voicemeeter is your answer.

Their bright color does hurt eyes sometimes when used on dark tungsten theme. No need to do any changes to their sound engine but an option for darker body color would be a welcome change.

Yes, I think the issue with staying with Splat or any older unsupported version, is most of us will write those people off as being sort of foolish.
And don't trot the 32 bit excuse out as that also seems foolish to me.
Well I was expecting this sort of answers. Unfortunately the other sonar forums like sonarmods or beyondcakewalk are also down. Seems like time to hide under the ground again. Bummed.

Most of my friends are working on macs. That would make the co-working much easier.

I'm sure you mean the waveform change will happen in realtime as we move the clip gain. Oh yes, that would be a huuuge step forward in the workflow!

I may be the first PC friend here to respond to your request and I wholeheartly adore this idea!

Big thumb up for the legacy Sonar section! Since the old forum is going to be locked we have a strong argument to ask for it now.
I'm still on an 32-bit pc machine btw.

I was chris.r in the old forum, I doubt that would help with my post count though.
