  1. The great thing with PhasePlant is that if you're just a preset guy, you don't need to have everything as patches made with snapins you don't have will still work. You just cant adjust the parameters of said snapin.
  2. Oh my yes. It's really really creative. PhasePlant is limited only by what you can imagine. It's just fantastic. And yeah, I have been having fun making some of the dirtiest sounds I've come up with for the library I'm working on for PhasePlant...
  3. That is the only thing missing from PhasePlant, but I don't mind since that I have Audio Damage's Quanta. But other than that PhasePlant beats pretty much everything out of the water. The fact that you can basically build it up the way you want to and you're not limited to just two layers of oscillator, wavetable or sampler sound makes it so versatile. For me PhasePlant pretty much gives you a free range of creativity.
  4. PhasePlant does soooo much more than Serum.... Oh my yes. My favorite synth at the moment. Incidentally Man Makes Noise might be developing something for PhasePlant...
  5. Aria Sounds. Shees, avoid them, spend your money on this rather: https://www.strezov-sampling.com/products/view/choir-essentials.html
  6. The Helix strings sound quite nice. The piano is quite standard, but it's free so should not expect something to rival bigger libraries. Not sure of the drums yet.
  7. Oh, this has become my goto bass enchancer. It's fantastic.
  8. Some percussion from the instrument as well. No reverb, 4 to 6 velocities, 1 rr for each hand. https://soundcloud.com/manmakesnoise/the-jmlt-fast-hand-perc-test
  9. New one with quite a few patches on top of each other. Totally unmixed, just a quick test:
  10. You're welcome. All of my sets have a free test version available, do check them out.
  11. And one more patch test:
  12. Second patch test: Excuse my poor playing, it was late here...
  13. Working on it, working on it...

    The JMLT

Testing out the first alpha patch from a library I'm working on: 1 velocity layer, 4 round robins. Reverb is NI Raum.
  15. And kinda ripping of the naming strategy from Melda...
  16. It's a bit more than either of those.
  17. This is the one synth I would recommend everyone get. Bloody marvelous piece of gear.
  18. Man Makes Noise wishes all of you a merry Xmas. Here's a gift from me to you: a free Omnisphere library! Based on the orchestral sounds in the Versilian Studios VCSO Community Edition, this library transforms and mutates them into something new and fantastic: And did I mention it is free? So grab it here: https://www.manmakesnoise.com/mutated Original tease message: Something new from Man Makes Noise is coming in just two days, but had to share this before that. 100% the library...
  19. Slow has some fantastic sounds in there.
  20. I grabbed it because it looked and sounded cool and well, it is cool.
  21. I've had this for about two months now and have been more than happy with it. Atleast with Studio One it is just brilliant. Highly recommend in it's price range!
  22. Well, from what I've heard so far there's nothing that warrants such a price. But everything is subjective. My personal opinion is still meh. If I want something like this I will invest in Vienna MIR.
