I wanted to share this as it has been my pleasure to write themes and design sound environments for not one, nor two but four of these shows already. It is a six hour live show of one shot role games. Each game has had a different world and adventure, with the first two being fantasy adventures and the third set in the 90's. This is an evolution of the theme originally written as a Conan The Barbarian style of adventure theme, but for the fourth game the setting was scifi and space with horror tones.
This is a show produced by the Finnish Broadcast Company. If you're in Finland you can watch it on Yle Areena.
I am quite pleased how this turned out.- 1

is there a way to get all of the features working i cant get all the midid to work on controlls.
Maybe ask on the Presonus forum? I'm using with Studio One so everything just works automatically.

This is a very nice update. Plus all the presets you've made with Quanta 1 are 100% compatible with Quanta 2.

Still one of the best percussion libraries ever.

William Morris took the library for a spin:

Today Man Makes Noise has released a new Omnisphere library called Transmissions and I'm finally addressing the one word in the company name: noise. Transmissions takes you on a journey to the world of noise.
Created with samples recorded with a combination of synth noise oscillators and filter resonations and then manipulated inside Omnisphere, this collection is not clean. It’s heartbeat is dirty and full of imperfections, nothing is static. It explores the ambient, cinematic side of music.
The Transmissions library contains 100 patches and 120 new soundsources for Omnisphere 2.8.2.
Transmissions includes a bonus library for Omnisphere: Ambient Drum Company.
The price of Transmissions is 25€ (excluding VAT where applicable) with an introduction price of 15€ (excluding VAT) until September 30th 2022. Also if you have previously purchased the Man Makes Noise Omnisphere Bundle you get this one for free!
Grab the library here: https://www.manmakesnoise.com/transmissions
There is also a free 10 patch demo to test out: https://www.manmakesnoise.com/freebies

Hmm, this is not a sale. Just it's normal price.
But it's a new release.

There is good stuff and there is bad stuff there. You might have to try them out to see if things work for you or not. Most of those instruments have been made by people as they would want them and I found that my way of working differs from some and I can find no use for some instruments (not going to mention any as it is a personal taste thing) and some have gone straight into use. Test them out yourself, you won't loose any money doing it.

The sound of that thing is great, but my god that GUI has always been hideous.

This is a real shame as their products are great. But as the situation is I would not believe either side. Only they know what their contracts say and this is the only thing that matters.
Personally I find it a tad bit odd that Denis should run into such a situation twice where he claims the other side is "evil". Once I can believe but the same thing happening to you again kinda feels like you are either editing things to make yourself look good or then the way you do things with your partners is at fault. Whether this is the case I don't know, but for me the fact that you use mailing list information to send customers such an email is a huge NO-NO. You just don't do that no matter what the case and he should know.
Whatever happened they should resolve it through mediators not public forums. "Whatever say may be used against you"...
I do hope they get everything resolved as I like the products and Aether is a great and cheap reverb for outdoor spaces (which there are precious little alternatives to, all of them waaaay more expensive).

It's also free if you have their Noises plugin.
Edit, never mind didn't read Larry's original post quite well enough... I'll get me coat.

If you don't have Phase Plant now is a good time to grab it. Version 2 is around the corner and it has a some veeeeery nice additions...

I Included rest coz i thought CR8 would be hard on CPU
A free and lightweight sampler would be Decent Sampler: https://www.decentsamples.com/product/decent-sampler-plugin/
The drawback with that is that you need to script a file for it to use samples in it (it's actually very simple).
Then you also have TX16W: https://www.tx16wx.com/
And Big Fish Audio has their Momentum: https://www.bigfishaudio.com/momentum.html
Don't how lightweight TX16W or Momentum are.

Of those three only CR8 is actually a samper you can use as a general purpose sample player. The other two are drum oriented. Sure you probably can do chromatic sampled instruments with them, but then you will have to load samples into each and every pad... So CR8 is the only traditional sampler.

I liked this - excellent the way it builds up - loved the drums - what were they?
the mix sounds great here in the studio - Cool stuff
Nigel
The percussion is a mix of Frame drums from Drums of War 2, Large Taiko from HZ Percussion, SA Tundra Percussion, Wrong Tools' Runebomme, 344 Audio's Shamanic Drums and Tarilonte's Dark Era. Plus there might be something more that I've forgotten.

I think a wonderful musical event just unfolded and washed over me. Many thanks! Great listen as is. I did drift away a bit in the middle as there was no "second part" really coming, but it was undeniably a pleasant and thought-provoking drift, so all good sir.
cheers,

I was actually trying to make a song that you kinda get "stuck" with.
