It just give you the physical controls rather then using a mouse. Although you can also assign knobs and slider to control synth parameters, effect parameters etc.

Do you have a midi device show up in the Midi->Devices? I think you have to have a midi interface show up and be selected for you to assign an instrument to it.

Is this a stereo mix or do you have stems for all the instruments?  Also, you can try different offline rendering methods to see which sounds the best.

PS. When you say 74% I am assuming you mean you slowed the audio down?

When you hit apply it will apply the setting changes but not close the dialog. You have  to hit "OK" to apply and close.

Not that I am aware of. It supports VST2/3  and some older DirectX plugins. I don't know what a *.spp file is.

Are the drivers you are trying to get from Cakewalk or Roland? I think you would have to contact Roland to get the drivers. If you think they are in your Cakewalk account then contact Support@cakewalk.com

When you split an audio clip and want to get rid of the parts that are no longer audible then "bounce" the clip. That will create a new clip and the audio that was "clipped" should be able to be removed as long as it is not referenced somewhere else.

I would respectfully disagree. I think the new tempo track is much easier to work with and more consistent with other views.  

Is there something you cannot do in the tempo track that you are trying to do?

I think one of the developers mentioned that the performance module is just monitoring the audio processing and not the GUI and other system tasks, at least in one of its modes.

the project still seems to think that you have it inserted on bus:"Slap Delay".  Have you checked that bus to see if you still have it in the effect rack or prochannel effect block?

If it is not there then maybe something got out of sync or corrupt in the project file.  In that case you could either try to re-create the project or do a "save as" and make sure to copy all the audio with your save.

I have removed these kinds of pops by cutting out he discontinuity and then pushing the two clips next to each other and then cross-fading between them.

You could also try cutting the clip so that the pop is isolated and then apply a low pass filter to just that small clip.

I have no idea about the ASUS noise canceling output but I would suggest trying the realtek ones instead of the ASUS entries and see if that works any better. If not, then getting a dedicated audio interface is your best bet.

Also, Personally I would remove all the NVidia audio devices as well.

I just purchased the drum midi at BestService, registered the code and it came up as an EZkeys midi (Big Band).  I sent them an email indicating the error.

You can do that if you make sure all your audio clips are set to be groove clips or if you open the audio snap panel and mark the clips to follow tempo.

It is not as seamless as some other systems but it is worth a try.

Nothing to configure. I use a 4K TV as my monitor at 100% scaling. Some people have noted that using scaling makes it look a bit blurry but I don't scale the display so no problem for me.

I think that the instrument files would have to be loaded from the Engine and not Cakewalk. Cakewalk should find the Best Service Engine VST. Add that as a new simple instrument track and then open it's interface to open or find the instrument filess.

 I have been using Scaler 2.7.3 as well and have not seen this either. Are you turning off, "unbinding" Scalar after you drag it? 

How big is your TV?  I use 4k TVs for my monitors and work and home. I calculated that I needed at least a 43'' 4k TV so that things on the screen were about the same size as a 24'' 1k monitor. I run with 100% scaling.

What audio card, driver mode, buffer settings do you have? Have you tried changing the buffer settings to see if it is an audio card issue?

A problem with all these written social interactions is how much effort it is to write out answers, ask questions, wait for feedback etc. The user manual as well as user provided videos and tutorials can often lead a person to discover for themselves how to diagnose and find issues and has most of the stuff already written out, no need to reproduce it here if it is a simple knowledge issue.

If they have given it some effort then often times more information is needed to truly help them like telling us what they have tried, posting pictures or video etc.

I think any poster is making some assumptions until enough information flows to truly understand each other. Even

It depends on your interface, but most interfaces will present their inputs either as grouped stereo or separate mono inputs. If you using just a built in audio card then you may not have this option.

Make sure the track you want to record on is "armed" and that your controller is selected as an input source.

I haven't tried this but try deleting your "aud.ini" file and see if that helps.

I don't have an answer but some things to look for,

- Open task manager and see if there are some other high CPU, Memory or Disk tasks running

- Check on a new project with only a simple audio file in one track. Does it still do it?

- Use Replendence LatencyMon to check for anything taking too much interrupt time. A video card driver could cause such an issue.
