Awesome!  Thanx Arlen!  I was think it would have to be before the 1st, in
which case I would not be able to buy anything.  But, since it's the 12th of
August, I might be able to swing it...I can get the Slide Bundle for $48 with
my pittance of Orange Slices that are left  from last years
    purchase...so may do that...

But what I REALLY need to do is learn to use all the ones I already have and
    STOP BUYING CRAP...

    PS

    BUT THAT'S NO FUN!!!😜

Now you sound like me Larry (talking to myself)...LOL

I'm probably NOT going to stop buying stuff.. I'm just learning to be a little more "judicious" when I do.. 🙄

If we order, when do we have to check out by?

    Hey Larry,

This is what it said on the group buy rules...

The group buy signup period lasts until July 22nd (at 8 AM PDT), after which you have until August 12th (at 8 AM PDT) to complete your purchase. Of course, if we reach the highest tier before then, you'll be able to check out early.

  3. I got Passion Flute at the last group buy.   Gonna have to get in now and see what else I can get.

Edit:  Okay, I'm in.  Getting the Jaco Bass...

Ed!  See what you made me do! 🤣

  4. Man! That  was really cool!  Love the sound!  As Amicus said, that was "tight" and very polished.

Video was fun to watch too!

    That Behringer sounded really good!

Will keep my fingers crossed for your guys that you get on the series...

    Keep us posted!😀

  5. John,

This is a very heartfelt tribute to your baby...

I had avoided the song for a couple of days because my granddaughters name is Ginger and I wasn't sure where it was going (haha on me right?)🙄

But overall the song is nicely written...

I know there's been a lot of critique about the flutes, ep, bass all that (and mostly good) but I think you're doing a great job conveying your emotions with what you have.

It's a beautiful song that will continue to stand for a long time coming...

My condolences to you on your loss, but congratulations to you and ability to express your love.

  6. Thanks Zo!

Your videos are always fun to have on in the background at my office.  I stop often to check out the product and track you're working on.

Really like this 1176 version.  I may have to pick this one up (of course, I'll have to wait for the sale...hahaha).

Especially like what it/you did with the drums and bass..

  7. I just got the Black Box Analog.  Tried it on some masters I'm working on.

Really love how the "air" button adds brightness without making it sound thin.

I think it'll be one of my new best friends for prints.. 😃

  8. I got hooked up with a friend (bassists) from church that wanted me to come over and check out his rig.  We were in the praise team band and he said his studio was all computer. It was Cakewalk Pro9.  I had seen it once before in a studio, but never worked with it.  At that time, I think you could add audio tracks and since I had only a Tascam 4 track at home, this was a treat.  I went over a number of times doing songs with him until he moved away.

My next run in was working in a small studio where they were running Sonar XL.  I liked working on it and vowed that when I set up my own rig, I would get Sonar.

I eventually bought a copy of Sonar Pro3.    I've been with Cakewalk/Sonar/Cakewalk by Bandlab ever since.

  9. I am, all over facebook in person and when I can on this forum.

I feel like all the other happy users of Cakewalk by Bandlab.. "Why aren't they coming over in bigger numbers?"🙄

Been using this DAW since the PRO9 days (in some very small studios).  Got my own copy of Sonar3 (and my own studio then too 😎)

I guess it's a slow process trying to win over all of the "industry Standardites" one by one, but somebodies gotta do it.

    Carry on..

  10. HI John,

I listened to your song (liked it a lot)..

Good recording.. Sounded nice in my work headphones...

Sorry you had to take down one of your songs.. I haven't been around consistently to have caught it while it was up.

But this one will do nicely.

Mother Trucker!! It’s all right there.

Thanks Arlen - I will try this tonight when I am at my PC.  Does that mean there is no way to combine two or more MIDI tracks?

there is... I was just giving you one (that I could find quickly while at my work desk.  I know that if you take one of the clips and control drag it to the other midi track, you can bounce them together as one midi clip (I do it all the time).

  12. There are a couple of ways to do it, but since you have them on "different" tracks...

You KNOW in Cakewalk by Bandlab, you can "see" all the midi tracks at the same time?

Go to PRV and click on your first track (they are on the right side IIR).  Then control click on the other track you want to "see"...

Now you can click back and forth on between the two to edit...
