  1. I bought two expansions and paid for one yesterday without any problems, so if there's a bug it must have started to appear in the last 24 hours.
  2. To restore the big icon, from the menu select Views > Icons > Show Icons To restore the small icon: Views > Icons > Track View > Show in Header Also, if you’re using your own track icons and would like the big and the small icon to be in sync (as I do): Views > Icons > Track View > Show Custom in Header
  3. I don’t think so. Anyone who buys Sonar shouldn’t have any reason to reactivate some old version of CbB. If some critical bug indeed would appear in Sonar after the six-month activation period of CbB has run out, I would expect the Bakers to do anything in their power to correct it in Sonar as soon as possible. I would not expect them to change the activation scheme of CbB. But I will refrain from further speculation and wait for the official release.
  4. It's all in the name you just gave them . They need some return on their investment.
  5. Build 062 has been around since middle of September. The current build is 075 and was released two days ago.
  6. Ah, confirmed by Fleer. Sounds pretty, pretty good!
  7. Interesting. Let’s hope owners of Falcon 2.8 will have a free update to Falcon 3. I bought Falcon when it was released back in 2015 and have yet to pay for an update.
  8. In case you’re running Chrome on Android, there’s an option called Desktop site in the top-right menu. Uncheck that option and the size should go back to normal.
  9. Sure, but the answer depends on what you mean. If you want to play sounds that comes with a plugin or other sound generating software installed on your computer, then you do it the way Will said, using a MIDI (DIN) or USB cable, depending on available outputs or your keyboard. If you, on the other hand, want to record sounds that are generated inside your keyboard, then you must connect your keyboard to your computer using audio cables.
  10. I’ve had a Roland DP-10 sustain pedal for years (in fact, I’ve got two). One great thing about it, besides from being rock solid, is that it has a rubber foldout on which you place your heel. That makes it possible to use the pedal even on slippery floors and carpets without it sliding away. Just fold the plate back when you don’t need it.
  11. A bug is when something doesn’t work as documented, not when something doesn’t work the way you personally would expect it to. As you registered on this forum about an hour ago, and hence probably doesn't have much previous experience with Cakewalk, I would assume that what you regard as bugs instead are mostly, or more likely completely, caused by lack of knowledge. Some would just say RTFM, but I'll be polite and only refer you to the tutorials sub-forum as a good starting point. As to your question, saving your work often is always a good habit, and that's regardless application. But it's not a panacea for lack of knowledge. Finally, if you indeed would like to have help with some problem, you'll likely find it here. But you must be much, MUCH, more specific.
  12. Well, I can’t recreate that but I’ve only been testing some twenty minutes. Once a pattern has been dragged onto a track of the DAW and expanded into MIDI notes, only the individual drum hits (and not the pattern keys) will light up during playback. However, that’s exactly what I would expect. Also, I have no problems dragging and dropping additional patterns into CbB later on, but given my short, random tests, the results are indecisive. Maybe those problems indeed have been fixed, or maybe they are still there. I don't know.
  13. Do you remember exactly how this issue was triggered? I bought Heavy 2 (and Solid 2) earlier today, but I can’t get the GUI to not respond, using the 2023.09 version of CbB. So far every button and knob I’ve tested in Heavy 2 reacts to mouse input as I would expect, and the UI keys reacts to my MIDI keyboard without a hitch.
  14. I'm still running Native Access 1.14.1 on Windows 10. After having had multiple problems with NA2 when it was first released, I decided to roll back. I have never looked back. Besides, version 1.14.1 never forces me to update, probably because it’s the only version that still supports Windows 7 and 8. I have K14U installed and there haven’t been any problems with installation and updates using v 1.14.1. As far as I know, the main differences are better search and filter functionality in later versions, as well as support for Komplete Now subscriptions. As if I cared. Not saying that you should, but you can, at your own peril: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/4748946468497
  15. One workaround would be to stand on your head when this happens.
  16. Yes, that's the elephant in the room. He hasn't been logged on for a month. Whatever the reason, I just hope he's well.
  17. Having a packet sniffer running on my computer, created by some random guy on the internet, would really make me feel safe and secure.
  18. Lord Tim, who's been the early morning janitor, hasn’t been logged on for almost two weeks. I hope he’s okay.
  19. I don’t have anything from IKM, but I do have a lot of things from UVI. They have the same bad habit of not signing their Windows installers. I get a feeling Windows is almost an afterthought for many plugin manufacturers. "Yeah, right. What’s it called? Windows? I guess we have to make an installer for that as well. Oh, putain! I have to catch the bus in ten minutes, but I’ll try to squeeze it in! Isn’t there a Windows computer somewhere down in the basement?"
  20. Unfortunately, same problem. As you can see from the linked article, Windows 8 and 8.1 are also affected.
  21. Are you still running Windows 7? If so, <UTTER_SPECULATION>CCC 1.1.8.1 might be using Microsoft WebView2 to communicate over the internet with the back-end server. Edge version 109 and WebView2 Runtime version 109 were the last versions to support Windows 7. If the latest version of CCC is created using WebView2 SDK 1.0.1519.0 or higher, it will, according to Microsoft, not work with Windows 7. But, of course, I'm only guessing here.</UTTER_SPECULATION>
  22. It varies. Some deals are less than 50% and some are more than 50%. For instance, I bought Tines with a 60% discount for $9.99.
  23. I think that Sweetwater has jumped the gun; the link and image in the OP are definitely targeting Klevgränd. But the prices at Sweetwater do give an indication of the deals to be at Klevgränd as well.
  24. C’mon Klevgränd! Where are the deals? It’s been Tuesday for more than eleven hours here in Europe! And in Tokyo it’s 18:20 (that’s 6:20 pm for those of you that only can count to twelve).
