  1. I think everyone was given a license for MixBox CS v1.5.0. "CS version available with 8 starter modules and over 30 new presets for free"
  2. You might want to dump all the the other Rhodes in the trash bin!!! Haha, just kidding... 😜 But this thing is really good! And apparently Mr Rhodes himself said that this particular "E" model piano was the best version he had ever heard. And this is the first time this one has been sampled. The sound is authentic, so I guess it would all come down to whether this virtual instrument is playable and responsive enough for you.
  3. Take a look at deCoda by zplane: https://products.zplane.de/products/decoda/ https://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/zplane-decoda
  4. Kilohearts used to run occasional sales. Not sure what's happening next since the recent release of v2, where they gave away the Snapins, plus had a sale on Phase Plant. I see that they are still offering the $9.99 month "Everything" subscription, where you get a $100 voucher every 12 months to buy perpetual licenses with.
  5. The download button in this link works here. Same link as in the OP. https://kilohearts.com/products/kilohearts_essentials
  6. I doubt they could ship anything for $27 to a US address, unless it's coming from a warehouse somewhere in Kansas.
  7. Sorry to hear that you are not comfortable with the comments here, but understood. Those comments did not appear to me to be intended as personal attacks in any way, but we are entitled to our own opinions. Is English your main language? Nothing wrong if it's not, but perhaps some humor was lost here in translation? Requesting that folks read and understand the posts in the forum is not disrespectful, because often confusion ensues when others follow a misunderstanding down a rabbit hole. Besides he is Larry, and he gets a long leash... 😜
  8. No problem! Just trying to help fast track your restoration. I can see you possibly getting into some detailed Sonar installation issues, and that might just get lost in the dust here!
  9. It appears that you are bashing Larry now because you refuse to clearly understand the issue that was posted. Please try this below, and then think about it for a minute, and maybe you will see it too! There is simply no $178 price, as the partner's page claims! It's still $339!!!!!!!
  10. Does Thomann have a USA distribution center?
  11. I have RX9 Standard, and it includes an impressive list of tools! I get the impression that RX9 Advanced is aimed at post production professionals. If that is true, would it also be useful for the average home studio user not involved in film or TV? "Designed specifically for the demanding needs of post production professionals, RX 9 Advanced continues to be the industry standard audio repair tool used on movies and TV shows to restore damaged, noisy audio to pristine condition."
  12. If you have any other Sonar or Cakewalk issues, please open a new thread in general Cakewalk support forum. You are more likely to engage with Cakewalk staff there. This is the "Deals" thread, and not many staff members hang out here.
  13. Install CbB last. Make sure that you already have all of the Sonar extras installed first. In the order of oldest to newest. That works best, and is what the Cakewalk staff has always recommended. Some installers may be looking for Sonar to be available on the system, such as indicated by the error 'Cannot locate the required version of the program on this system. Please install the correct version of the program to use this pack'.
  14. Here's a screen grab of SnapHeap showing off a large number of factory preset chains, as well as the available macro knobs that can be controlled in real-time, or automated, and the modulators at the bottom. This thing is modular, so you can pretty much add any of the 24 Essential Snapins anywhere, in any order. Nice for sound design stuff. Start with a preset and then add, delete, or move the Snapin modules as you explore. SnapHeap runs as an audio FX plugin in your DAW.
  15. Highly recommend the Kilohearts $29 SnapHeap Snapin Host to use with these Essentials FX. Turn them into an awesome FX rack!!! It allows you to build up to seven serial or parallel effects chains and modulate every parameter using Kilohearts' powerful modular modulation system. https://kilohearts.com/products/snap_heap Just ignore the Slate promos in this video, as this was an older video produced by Slate, but it still gives a nice overview of what you can do with Kilohearts SnapHeap.
  16. @icu81b4This is pretty much it. It is recommended to first install any of the Sonar products you wish to have available, the then install Cakewalk by BandLab to pick up the old stuff. You can do selective installs, but installing the full Sonar program itself really doesn't require much disk space, and you can be sure that you got everything. If you are referring to Sonar X1-X3, or Platinum, the installers are still available in your old Cakewalk account. For the Sonar Platinum era installers, you should use Cakewalk Command Center to access the desired installations. CCC will download, install, and activate the selected installers for you, no serial numbers or activation codes required. Also, CCC has separated many of the instrument and plugin suite installers from the core Sonar installer. But just be aware that there are a few items such as Roland V-Vocal that are part of the core Sonar install, and I don't recall the details of what all of those were.
  17. You authorize any Kontakt Player compatible libraries using Native Access. Then you unzip the libraries into your Kontakt library folder, on whatever drive you would use for them. Greg previously posted details in this thread about which OTS libraries are Kontakt Player compatible, i.e., they show up as "icons" in the Kontakt library browser. The gist of his explanation is that all of the Evolution Complete Bundle titles, plus the Famous E, are Player compatible. You can find such details in each product's listing.
  18. If you have ever used Cakewalk Pro Channel FX chains, you should grasp the concept easily. Another use for MixBox and Snapheap is portability between projects and/or DAWs. If you set up an FX chain that works for you in certain situations, then you can save it as a preset and recall it anywhere else that it may be useful!
  19. That's the entire point of modular synths, right? 🤣
  20. This just in from Synth Anatomy: Korg Prophecy Plugin 1.5 Update: Let's Explore The New Presets (No-Talking)
  21. Makes sense! Sonitus is quite old, and likely had dependencies on those earlier MS redistributables. I am running Windows 10, but I have many MS VC++ Redistributables installed from the latest, and going all the way back to 2005, without any issues here.
  22. Then they could just charge $7 to those that want the new presets... they are worth it IMO.
  23. RC-48 is not available as a single purchase at Native Instruments, only in the reverb bundle with RC-24 for $99. There is a $49 bundle upgrade if you already own one.
  24. Like how many modules can you actually use?
  25. Even at this link? https://collective.focusrite.com/products/fast-bundle
