  1. I believe the OP must have figured out his 2 bar copy and paste issue. In standard time, 8 beats = 2 bars. 😎
  2. I didn't need the manual. You could have just said yes, they are beats.
  3. Just out of curiosity - back to the original question. Are those bars or beats shown on the Instacomposer timeline? If they are actually beats, then it would make sense that the OP is only getting two bars of MIDI when he drags and drops that pattern into Studio One.
  4. If not us, then that "Smokey" video certainly did...
  5. This is a valid point! In depth Q&A discussions of problems should probably be taken up elsewhere, rather than clutter up the "Deals" forum with troubleshooting. Dem deals is more importanter.
  6. Just noticed a special "ROCKTOBER" price of $29. Normally $99. https://www.ujam.com/drummer/heavy/
  7. $29 special for Rocktober! https://www.ujam.com/drummer/heavy/
  8. Thanks, but as I said, only 15 seconds to load here...
  9. Wrong. The Deals forum and Coffee House forum have never been exclusively about Cakewalk, just music related. And the only rules are no personal attacks, no politics, no religion. That's it! However, the rest of the forums are for Cakewalk topics only.
  10. I use Studio One and Cakewalk, but not Instacomposer. So I'm not able to help with the Studio One issue here. I would agree with the suggestion to try the Studio One forum for more relevant user feedback. If the drag and drop works in Cakewalk and other DAWs, then it very well may be an incompatibility with Studio One.
  11. Nice! Grabbed them. Even better than just Analog Lab, if you have V Collection you can open up the presets in the original instrument! Whoo hoo!
  12. 5 minutes? Wow! That is ridiculous... 😢 More like 15 seconds here... but it's still a CPU hog!
  13. You may need to check this: Windows Error Reporting (WER) can be configured so that full user-mode dumps are collected and stored locally after a user-mode application crashes. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/wer/collecting-user-mode-dumps
  14. Interview – Sound Designer Extraordinaire, Nori Ubukata https://soundbytesmag.net/noriubukatainterview/
  15. I have all of Nori's expansions. The man is a genius!
  16. Same here. I did notice that the IK Mems mic is in the mic list for the Mic Room plugin, so that's maybe a plus. But the shipping is pretty spensif...
  17. If you like Pink Floyd and have SynthMaster 2, this SM 2 expansion has some presets with classic PF sounds. Not loops, these are actual presets that you can play. $15. This demo highlights some presets in action, obviously played by someone with chops! 😎 The audio demo is done entirely in SynthMaster except the following: drums, percussion and bass guitar. There is also some Genesis in this expansion for Tony Banks fans, but this demo is all Floyd.
  18. "AmpliTube Slash is a suite of Slash's signature guitar effects, amps and cabs that he uses on tour and in the studio. We worked closely with Slash to recreate his rigs perfectly and Slash says we nailed it. Now you can play and record with the exact sounds that make the legend. Hear for yourself." https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/slashcs/index.php?p=gear
  19. You might take a look at this small free utility AppCrashView. It sometimes catches Cakewalk crashes for me. Look under "Fault Module Name" for the potential cause of the crash. For instance, if the TTS-1 plugin causes Cakewalk to crash, it is usually listed there. http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/app_crash_view.html *For now, this utility only works on Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows 8, and Windows 10. simply because the earlier versions of Windows don't save the crash information into .wer files.
  20. Yup! We had camped on the beach at Galveston Island the night before, so arrived at the gates early. We were among the first to be admitted to the University of Houston stadium, and took up a position right in front of the stage. But as the set progressed, the crowd started pushing forward until we were caught in the crush. So then we moved back to about the 50 yard line, where the sound board was located. That was actually a good move, because the quad sound was so much better from the middle of the field. Surround sound! 😎
  21. I saw that same PF Animals tour, in Houston TX, same year. Best ever!!! 😎
  22. Hey, is anyone having success with IK items put up for sale? Asking for a friend...
