  1. The Kontakt Factory Selection that ships with the full edition of Kontakt has: Alto Sax Tenor Sax Baritone Sax Sax Section Yes, pricey for one song, but you could possibly find uses for some the bundled instruments in other songs without needing to buy extras. The factory library link is here. The PDF gives a detailed description of everything included. https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/samplers/kontakt-6/downloads/
  2. I got Union for something like $5 a while back. But for the life of me, I could not get any velocity response to work with it. Every note at 100% velocity! I even contacted SoundSpot support, and they never responded. So I chose to remove it. Yes, I am aware that they issued a software update with an option for velocity (that was an afterthought?), but it has no effect that I can see. They never updated their documentation for the update either. SMH. Otherwise it looked like an interesting synth... 😢
  3. I bought the Asus branded TPM module for my Intel equipped Asus board. Installed and working good! But it turned out that the firmware option was also available in the BIOS, so that I didn't actually need the hardware TPM. Intel has provided the PTT (platform trust technology) in some recent chipsets that can be enabled, so that TPM 2.0 compliance is achieved with that alone. I would check on that before buying anything. I have also heard that AMD has something similar, but I have no first hand info on that brand.
  4. Right, if you never created an account, then you are stuck now. Sorry to hear that! I am curious how you bought and registered Dim Pro without an account? Didn't that that was possible? It was not legal to transfer a license for any Cakewalk product. The only thing I could suggest is finding someone willing to share the DVD installer version. At 2.9 GB the Dim Pro installer a bit large to share with any file sharing services.
  5. You must run KK in standalone at least once to pick up any new plugins.
  6. Better than Wobble and Twist from SONiVOX!
  7. Log into Cakewalk Command Center, or your account at the old Cakewalk website, and your download will be waiting for you. If you need to reset your password contact support@bandlab.com BTW, the Dimension Pro installer is 2.9GB...
  8. Except that the Resonator UI for Kontakt is much better than SampleTank. Don't get me wrong, I'm not dissing SampleTank here, but this instrument begs for intuitive control, and the SampleTank UI is a bit meh for that.
  9. I find it odd that The Resonator is missing from the qualifying product list. I understood that it would never be a freebie. So anyway if you really want The Resonator, and you have the full version of Kontakt, the original version is available as a Kontakt library directly from the developer, Indiginus (Tracy Collins), for $59. It sounds really, really good! https://www.indiginus.com/the-resonator
  10. It's not my graph, I just borrowed it from: https://www.hometheatershack.com/threads/downloads-page.19/ They also have a graph for the EMM-6. That one seems to have a much wider variance in the lows and highs. Probably much more need for an accurate calibration file with that one! But it is flat in the middle as well... But then, there was this comparison of these two at: http://www.audioimprov.com/AudioImprov/Mics/Entries/2012/11/12_Dayton_EMM-6_%26_Behringer_ECM-8000_Measurement_Mics.html Response to the same test speaker. ECM-8000 green, EMM-6 yellow. Curves separated for clarity.
  11. I have some Roland hardware that I would probably sell, if I could buy Roland virtual emulations of them without the ridiculous copy protection.
  12. For future reference, the Native Instruments Support page does not provide direct contact info. But it will walk you through submitting an online support request for your product. You just start by selecting the topic from the main support page. Then there will be a "Get Support" button when you have identified what you need help with.
  13. Very nice of Korg to take the high road, and avoid that recurring activation drama!
  14. ARC 3 will accept the ".cal" file for ECM8000 if you rename it to a ".txt" file when selecting the generic mic in the ARC software. https://www.hometheatershack.com/threads/downloads-page.19/ But these files will not exactly represent "your" copy of the mic. There may be some variance.
  15. A constant connection is not required. But periodic connections are required to maintain product activations. I believe that they may have increased the duration between required online "check-ins", but that is how Roland rolls...
  16. So it would seem that you are seeing the same doubling of CPU usage with AT 5. Obviously not as big a concern for those with higher spec machines (including myself), but could be a showstopper for those with older gen PC equipment. Thanks!
  17. Nice find! I put my order in with Sweetwater today! And ordered a 6' XLR cable from Amazon for $7.99.
  18. Says he with an i9-9900k... 🤣
  19. And all opinions here based on a YouTube video demo no less. Starting to sound like a KVR thread! 🤣 Let's wait for the official product release and then hear some opinions from folks, both guitar players & keyboardists, that have actually tried the d a m n thing!
  20. I believe that is the case! I had collected all of the "Elements" series from iZotope as freebies over the years, and never was nagged about trials. This year iZotope offered me a stupid good deal to upgrade to Music Production Suite 4. I couldn't resist! So no longer have Elements installed, as I now have Ozone 9 Advanced, Neutron 3 Advanced, RX 8 Standard, Nectar 3 Plus, and much more!
  21. When you click on "Download" for the free offer, you are also provided with a serial number. No need to be concerned with trial mode!
