    Cube Mini for 10

I got an email offer this morning from Lunacy Audio to upgrade my Mini to the full version for $70.

    Ableton sale

I've always gotten my Live upgrade deals directly from Ableton. If you are on their mailing list they will alert you as they become available.
  3. Heavy 2 is good, especially for $19.80! Here is an interesting demo track featuring Heavy, Virtual Guitarist Iron, and Virtual Bassist Rowdy.
  4. Added the Contemporary R&B Grooves MIDI for $12.
  5. Down in the lower section of the interface, under "Envelopes". Click on "Filter", "Amp", or "Pitch" and the ADSR controls for that envelope will be opened for you. Each layer A, B, C, D has its own set of envelopes, LFOs, etc.
  6. Run Native Access.
  7. I have not seen any issues with VST3. They are just being conservative. There are a few plugins that only come as VST3, and you can use them in Unify. Even a few of the "Unified" libraries require a VST3 version of a plugin. In the plugin scanner operations menu there is an option to "remove redundant" plugins. So you can scan for VST2 and VST3 plugins, followed by "remove redundant plugins" which will leave only the VST2 versions, plus any that are only VST3. So no duplicates that way! Neat and tidy!
  8. Just got the Absynth 5 Power Pack for $4.11, very cool!!! 😎
  9. It's a synth plugin host that comes with a factory library of 640 Patches, plus you can add your own plugins. Any preset from any plugin library that you own can be layered and/or keyboard split as a Unify layer, up to as many layers as your system can handle. That allows for some amazing combinations, with extensive MIDI control over CC parameters via macro knobs and the various included MIDI plugins. It's not a sequencer, but is host synced, so that rhythmic patches and arpeggiated instrument layers all play together in time. Unify can run standalone, or as a plugin in your favorite DAW. Since it can load basically any format of plugin, you can use it as a plugin wrapper to run plugin formats that your platform otherwise may not natively support. More Unify details are listed here (scroll down)! 10. I have almost all of the IK products, as a result of Total Studio MAX and other purchases. I deleted all of my archived downloads to recover disk space. That's worth a potential $7 charge if I ever need to recover anything. But since I have my samples drive with the installed samples fully backed up (IK + every other library I own), that is highly unlikely to happen here.
  11. The center (Software Pass?) did not ask me this. It was the "Korg wavestate native Installer.exe" that asked for this during the install process. Size of Wavestate content library = 2.2GB.
  12. I used the demo download link from Korg Software Pass v1.2.3. Ran the demo installer, and towards the end it asked me to browse to an existing content folder or to download content. I created a new folder and dropped the new content in there. All good!
  13. So at least you will get a fresh 180 days to download anything that you need! I really don't understand why IK takes this route. 🙄 I have SampleTank4 MAX and Syntronik 2 MAX, and a bunch of SampleTank 3 libraries and expansions. Hopefully I will not need to download them again, but we will need to weigh the cost of extra local disk space to archive the sound libraries vs. $7 (with Jam Points) to re-activate the downloads. Pain in the ***!!!.
  14. This topic is about AmpliTube and not sound libraries. You are correct about the sound libraries, and I am not a fan of the policy. But I was pointing out the facts for those that may be skimming this thread and conclude based on incomplete info that it applies to AmpliTube, which it does not!
  15. Doesn't apply to AmpliTube or any application installer, just to sound libraries!

  18. When I tried an M1 in the local music store back then I was amazed at the realistic sounds that could produce. Although I couldn't afford one at the time, I ended up with a KORG x2 workstation about 5 years later. It had a lot of the M1 sounds on-board and a similar synth engine, plus a few new tricks. Wasn't the classic, though. I think the KORG Triton is a worthy successor, another synth that I couldn't afford, but I do enjoy the virtual version!
  19. I have a few of Cherry's Moog standalone emulations, the Polymode, Memorymode, and Miniverse. Also have the Cherry/MRB VM900 Moog modules collection on my wish list. Voltage is a lot of fun, but it tends to be a rabbit hole, for sure!
  20. I have KC 3, but don't see any compelling reason to upgrade just for the 3 new instruments. But the Wavestate Native (not in the collection) is on sale for $99 until the end of November. That's a very nice synth, with a whole new take on the Wavestation! Running the demo now! https://korg.shop/software/natives/wavestate-native.html?___store=english
  21. Just the iLok license manager software is required, dongle is optional. Standard for all AIR Music products.
  22. Transfuser, along with many of the "legacy" AIR titles, had a lot of great tech potential under the hood. IMO if they had been properly maintained and updated with enhanced features and workflow they could have become excellent tools for modern day users. But sadly they were left as is... Ironic when you consider that originally these used to be a Pro Tools "exclusive" instrument package used in many pro studios. 🙄
  23. The OP was asking how to extend a notes length, not how to merge notes. I gave the correct answer just above yours.
  24. The easy path would be to stick with an open standard like OpenGL as the default, with intelligent recognition and use of a compatible level of DirectX if available. You shouldn't need to hack your software to revert to OpenGL. That OpenGL is no longer being actively developed may be the reason (excuse) that certain vendors can only find support for graphics features that they need by using DirectX. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenGL
