Thks this is the infos i need to know  ;)

I remeber a students came with only issues , when i saw asio for all i said , unisnatl it and use RME drivers only (she had an rme) and issue were vanished but it was like a decade ago lol so seems thats it's still randomly stable ?

I bought a Focusrite Solo 3 years ago to use with my laptop (have since been replaced with UAD Solo USB), and haven't used it since, so can't really comment on the stability.

Thks , RME UCX , adat avaiillable but don't want to buy extra stuff , i fuked up my budget lately ...

Wasapi latency is a pain and no option here , i'm curious why you you would skip asio 4 all as much as possible (witch is why i dunerstand via your answer)  ?

    I totally understand.

I have not had any luck with ASIO4ALL, which is why I recommended as I did.

I've only had slow and prone to crash DAW's when using it with my laptop(s) (before I got an AI for that as well).

  3. Hi. Is your ADAT('s) taken as well? Not sure which RME you have.

If not. perhaps a 8 channel ADAT (ADA 8200, which I have, and am very pleased with) expansion?

Or if finances allows, perhaps look at a 2nd RME of some kind that has ADAT. or the individual inputs you need. (FF400 or the like is quite fairly priced these days)

If not possible, I think I'd try WASAPI, if that allows aggregate devices before ASIO4ALL.

    All the best.

Is that a harmonizer going sub on your lead vocal? Sounds cool.

Thanks for that light-hearted holiday romp! :)

I liked your take on this classic. You could start metallizing 80's new wave and start a genre. Or a niche. Next up, maybe "Tainted Love?"

I know Marylin Manson did a cover of both these (Sweet dreams and Tainted love), so I'm gonna pass on that, and do another one instead.

It is actually already well under way.

nope , they def should allow , if for exemple no possibility to save anything or some ....every video i see is man doing "regular "stuff , no geeky stuff around ....

Youtube is starting to become like my garage : a mess !

Indeed they should. Would sell more if that were the case. Not many would (if money allows) stop using it after the demo, and instead buy SD3.

yep but really SD3 seems deep and more powerfull for drums ..

In knotakt fro exemple i have to layer drums and select velocity i want to place them ect...here just the velocity gate makes it fast and easier (on the eyes) insetad of working in kontakt ...funny you talk about it , i was cursing all this afternoon liteerally because of kontakt being 20 f...years old and no f .... resize !!!!, i'm skipping superb libraries (was working on gamelan samplelogic and some heavyocity stuff and said just make your own player and move on)

You will not be disappointed if you go for it. I can (almost certainly) guarantee it.

I'll never go to another drum software again, after getting SD3.

  7. Hi, Zo.

As far as I know, you'll have to start with a kit, and replace the items.

I have however not tried to make my own kits, as I've gotten the sound I've wanted from the kits I have. So it might be doable. Just need someone with more knowledge than I have in that field.

    All the best.

Nice - it takes it in a very different direction from the original! I wasn't quite sure what to expect with the glockenspiel intro - it makes for an unusual (but good) complement to the sonic palette of metal.

Thanks for listening, and the positive feedback.

I felt the glockenspiel fitted the song ;)

    All the best.

No, I sang that an octave lower than the other vocal.

Thanks for listening, and positive feedback PhotoBrainer.

  10. Welcome to this forum, Chuck.

There are indeed lots of very talented people that are very willing to share when asked (nicely ;) ), just about anything you can imagine audio wise.

The same goes for CbB as well.

and of course there's the this:

I'm not nearly as active as I used to be, but got the chance to welcome you.

    All the best.

  11. I said I was done, unless I could use it with my Console 1. This is one I can use with it.

I was able to get the API Vision Pro Channel Strip for $19 with coupon codes, so couldn't resist. I had the former one (now legacy), so not sure if that had something to do with the end price

It'll also come in handy with my UAD Apollo Solo USB.

    All the best.

you just keep on posting and you gonna make me blow $20 😞

I just did myself. I had demoed it some time ago, and thought for this price I couldn't resist.

It does the clean sounds better than the heavy sounds, compared to the original.

  13. I have to say that none of the Marshall Jubilee vst's sound like the original. Softube/UAD and IKM has come the closest IMO, but still doesn't do this amp justice.

I had to sell my Marshall 2555 10 or so years ago, and have missed it since. It had a quite broad pallet of sounds for being a Marshall, and could sound heavier on its own than any of the Marshall Jubilee Amp sims out there.

    Rant over.

Quickly jumped on it before I miss it! With just 1000 a day I thought it might go fast. I made it! ...and got the message:

"You already have a license for GenMod. We have re-sent it via email."

I gotta pay more attention to what I've collected over the years and probably use more of it! 😕

    Me too..
