  1. Thanks for the listen and kind words.
  2. Larry I gotta give it to you on having the balls to do that song!! I NEVER would have even thought about doing it. I mean I know it and play it. But just would never have really actually done it!! I can see how you made it your own, and that was a good choice on your tone in the beginning. And when you cmae in with the vocals, bout floored me!! That's one good performance!! And the backing vocals really adds to the song. What ever you did with that was really good work. Then the lead. Great tone, great performance. I think you kept mostly to the spirit of the song but I can hear your own touch in there too. Which is a good touch on your part. The end was just as good, I was waiting for the piano to start the next song!! Good job.

    Run With You

I like this too. I agree with the Nilsson vibe. Just a nice really laid back vibe for sure. Nice mix, clean throughout. Good vocal performance. It does kinda have that effect!! Didn't think of this till I saw his response.
  4. That was wild!! Reminds me of the School Rock song Conjunction Function!! But I would have never put the dysfunction in front. That was brilliant!! The backwards lead really fits too!! LOL : ) Another good listen. Twice!!
  5. My son says the same thing, it's done dad!!
  6. I know. It's just so hard to let them go!! I got more, but I'm not quite finished with them yet!! : )
  7. Really like this song. Ever since I saw you post this tune with the caption I wanted to check it out. Just got around to it today. Great job you did. Both in the recording and playing. Everyone did a good job in fact. I like her playing on this. I listened to Spirit Dace too, but I like this one better. And almost forgot to mention tha the video was done well also. Nice selection of the place to video. Was that a choice or necessity? : )
  8. Thanks for the listens Joad and Larry!! Really appreciate it. Bjorn that you for the very kind words!! I really enjoyed this trk. Really had fun doing it.

    End Game

First off, is that a Theremin in there? Sounds like it. I like the little fx thrown in here and there. Really good playing on all instruments. That doubled guitar part towards the end of the second half of the song (around 3:30) sounded really good. Great bass sound. Was that played by someone, IOW a band? Cause if that was all in the box, that's very impressive!! Really good guitar playing all around, rhythm and lead. I'd say the remix is a winner!! Keep the plugins, they doing a good job. : ) Great groove. On my third listen!
  10. I like this almost as is. Vocals sound really good. I am liking the drums sound you got going. I listened to it before I read the comments. Then listened to it again after I read the other posts. I do too. It fits the song style. You got a good one going there. Let us know when ya get a new version up.
  11. And I am one of them!! Love my Waves AR stuff!!
  12. Damn!! That was really really sweet deal!! One of them "I came out on top!" deals!!
  13. Keep this in mind, Abbey Road is not a bundle, it's a collection. And the only way to collect another AR plugin, even if you already own the AR Collection, is to buy it!! : )
  14. To roll back from this release, uninstall CbB and then install the released version with BA.
  15. Thanks for the listen Tom. As I said in the post, I did it for fun. Let me explain a little more. Here I was at work with nothing to do. I had my guitar strapped on with my Surface setup and when I listened to the song I had some ideas that came out as I played. And I thought let me do something with this. And here is where the recording came in. I used a guitar I never recorded, Ibanez G10 with EMG's in it, into a Behringer UM2. Into CbB with Amplitube 4 Mesa MK IV. I monitored this on a JVC car stereo we got setup here at work. Took the frozen trks home and mixed at home and publish what you hear. I made myself a deadline that I wanted to keep because if not, I'd still be working on it. And that's when it starts going down that never ending hole that I can't seem to get out of. I am never really happy with any mix/song I do. I can always tweak some more!! So I never want to turn it loose. I will keep your suggestion in mind when I get back to it next week. When I listen to the song from SC on a mobile phone, I can hardly hear the piano. SC is doing something when streaming to mobile, and I wasn't prepared for that.

    HorNET HATEFish

This is gonna have to wait. At the moment, it doesn't appear to work in bB or SO4. I tried and tried to get it to do something and just couldn't. The manual is essentially what you see on the website page. Went to the site to look for videos and found none. So I just took a chance on the FB page and that's when I saw that another person was having the same issue as I was, except he was using Studio One. The only reply we got was "We are shooting a video tutorial Monday" which ain't helping me now. : ( So my recommendation right now is hold off on your purchase if interested.
  17. Chandler made a video about this plugin and the asking intro price was a good deal. This is really good!! I put it in the cart and it was $29.
  18. Agreed. This is a very decent reverb for a great price.
  19. @amiller Thanks for the listen and the comment. : )
  20. Thanks Kenny. I really enjoyed it. It was fun. That's why I posted, maybe a few others will get the itch too!

    FALLEN

That was really nice Steve. I really liked what you did to the vocal around 1:30. Made it sound so big. Great work there. The simple sounding guitar was really nice. Synth work was just what was needed. Never overpowering but right there to support the song. The mix/mastering was excellent. Everything seemed well balanced. Really good work. This is ready for the radio.
  22. Thanks for the listen and the kind words Paul. My wife wanted me to do something with the ending, she thought it ended to quickly too.
  23. Take a send from the trk you wan to record and send it to an Aux trk. Arm the Aux trk and adjust levels. Press R for record and you good to go.
  24. Update: I took Toms advice and made some adjustments to hopefully help when streaming from SoundCloud. Hope this one is a little better. This was inspired by Kenny's post the other day. He graciously posted the piano backing track that he had played over. I happened to have my guitar in hand, and started playing over it when I was listening to the piano track. That's how this got started. I wanted to just have some fun, but as I got going with the project it just grew into it's own thing. So I made a deadline yesterday that today by noon that would be it! I will make the deadline, but I used almost every minute of it. : ) It's done all in Cakewalk. I used CW, Waves, IK plugins for the fx. I used Jamstix for the drums and that's the stock drum sounds. And of course I welcome any and all comments. I'm here to learn and have some fun. Again @Kenny Wilson, thanks for the inspiration. I really enjoyed doing this. : )
  25. I listened to this the other day. I thought to ask (but I really didn't want to go down that road again! LOL : ) if that was you using the volume knob or it was the guitar synth. Because I can't make out where the synth is. IJK. I am thinking it's the part with what sounds like vibrato/tremelo? Listened to it at work the other day and today I listened again on my monitors at home and I could really hear much more definition here at the house. Really good playing Kenny. Great touch as always. And nice tone.
