Can you advise which Intel HD graphics driver version that resolved issue. I have tried the latest manufacturer updated and forced install of the latest intel driver. so rather than going forward, I may have to go backwards I have i5-7220U 7th Gen - intel HD 620 I have tried forcing update driver version 25.20.100.6618 (intel download) this was upgraded from HP's current upload of 25.20.100.6373 (HP website)
