Hi there When I do selection scrolling in the PRV view it works fine, but it doesn't work in the Controller Pane view. (Works fine when using Cakewalk Pro Audio 9.03) Currently using: OS: Windows 11 DAW: Cakewalk by Bandlab (Version 2022.02, build 039) I captured a video below, any suggestions are appreciated! Thank you for sharing Indian music. Regarding the way to separate the individual midi channels from the Multitrack MIDI structure, besides using the CAL syntax, there is another way you can try. When MIDI note signals are recorded from Korg Pa600 to CbB, the MIDI channel cannot be assigned in single track mode, as shown in your screenshot. But in this case, all the MIDI channel signals will be concentrated on the same track, which cannot be edited smoothly. At this time, you can save the current project as MIDI Format 0 (*.mid, Single Track), Close the current project or MIDI file, and then reopen the file just saved as MIDI Format 0, CbB will automatically disassemble the MIDI tracks and sort them from Ch.1~Ch.16. This is also a MIDI file of Format 0. After opening it with CbB, the same result is obtained. hope it helps you! π [Update] I used Cakewalk Pro Audio 9.03 to open the same MIDI file, and successfully disassembled the MIDI channel of Format 0 (Single Track)

+1 In Logic Pro, the clip name is always displayed when scrolling the timeline, which is a very thoughtful and useful feature, and I hope Cakewalk can add this feature as well. Thanks to the development team.

When you are recording MIDI notes, the controller will always appear and be recorded, and you feel annoyed, you can try to uncheck the input controller during recording in the preferences. However, please use this feature carefully, because it will block all CC#0-127 controllers and will not be recorded. cheers!

It seems to be possible! You can give it a try π

Got it! This MIDI track contains CC#110 and CC#1 controllers. You can see that the green box is the value of CC#1=49, which is also the vertical purple you see in Track View. Because CC#1 is used in many Kontakt instruments to control the dynamic range, which is related to volume, loudness or cut-off, etc. This is the reason why you hear the volume decrease.

Have you considered purchasing another wireless keyboard? If the receiving range allows, perhaps this is an option that can be evaluated. Wireless keyboards usually use 2.4GHz transmission protocol, and there is a USB receiver on the computer side. The wireless keyboard can be placed near your microphone for instant recording control.

You can try dragging to the right on the left edge of the Console, you should be able to see other tracks -
I used a custom theme and tried the 2021.12 EA version and found that the Archive Icon on the track seemed to be broken? However, the default Mercury and Tungsten themes are fine. I have also applied the themes designed by several users, and I have the same problem. Is it a problem with the EA version? midi How to preserve velocities when saving as MIDI file?
Johnny Tsao replied to Β·β€Β·'s question in Q&A
Because the Velocity Offset of this MIDI track is set to +127, After all the notes are saved as MIDI files, they will be added with a velocity of 127. You can try the Velocity Offset is set to "0", you can get the original velocity values This is the MIDI Event of "piece.mid", You can see that the velocity is all at the maximum value of 127. Hope it helps you! -

Hi! @Kishan Nadarajah In the current situation, it seems that the Cakewalk should be executed after the Graphite Mini Editor has been executed, causing the USB MIDI PORT to be occupied. You can try to close the Graphite Mini Editor software before running Cakewalk, the problem should be solved. I tested it with my AKAI MPD218, and also first opened the MPD218 Editor (using MPD218 USB MIDI PORT) without closing it, and then executed Cakewalk, I also got a message that the memory is insufficient. (I am using the Chinese version of Windows) Hope it helps you. π
