  1. I jumped on Mercury earlier this year with a simular deal. I am happy with the decision.
  2. I am sure they have done some permanent damage with the way cut to subscription only without any direct warning, but they will make some short term profits from guys like me. I will end up Wupping my oldest plugins in case they do something like this again. I will certainly be leery of future purchases with Waves.
  3. My Daw is Studio One. updating the plugin list alone did not fix the issue, I had to add a plugin path that I had thought was already there into Studio one which cleared the problem. Thanks for the suggestions
  4. I did the update this morning and when I check in my DAW, I see all of my Waves plugins, but when I put them in my tracks, most won't load. I am pretty sure that is a result of the update as my older version plugins do load. I suspect they made a change (location) that I need to point my DAW, so probably not a huge issue, but it is a headache.
  5. Perhaps they could try a buy 3 get 3 free for perhaps $29 per. That would be Waves shaking it up!
  6. I just bought this. Be careful with JRR, still. When I put the item in the cart everything was fine, when it took me to paypal it added an item that I probably had price checked a long time ago. I was able to edit the cart and checkout without an issue, but I still am wary of JRR's order system. I think they still need to work out some things.
  7. Groove3 is pretty good, but the $100 deal comes around a lot. Occasionally groove3 1yr is bundled with 3rd party releases.
  8. I have always thought that AD2 is an excellent competitor with EZDrummer. I am hoping that they are introducing something to compete with SD3 which I think they need.
