  1. Thanks Larry for listening, your generous comments and your constructive feedback on the low freq response. I agree pulling down the low end at some places opens up the space for competing or close-by frequencies. It's simply a tight trade-off at times which gets overlooked 😁 🙏
  2. Thanks for listening Andy and your kind appreciation. Glad you enjoyed the music 🙏

    Breaking Away

Good guitars and vocals Andy ! Nice flow to the song and the vocals stand at the middle clear of the instruments that are well panned and placed both in space and freq eq. All in all, a good one there 👍
  4. Thanks for listening Tom and glad you liked the track 🙏
  5. Thanks for listening and your kind feedback FreeEarCandy 🙏
  6. Thanks for listening and your generous words Mark... but they are all stepping stones to more explorations, aren't they ? Thanks again 🙏
  7. Thanks for listening and your poetic feedback Jesse... glad you liked the track 🙏
  8. I liked the beginning Larry and kept me engaged throughout... nice guitars, jazzy beats and the pad synth plays its part well in the space... Good one overall 👍
  9. Durdle door is a good one Nigel... good catchy pace with clear vocals and smooth rhythm... 👍

    Sad Day

Quite a soundtrack piece Wookiee and does drive across the feel of sadness with emphasis on the depth of the emotions... Take care....
  11. Energetic rocky feel to this Tom with pacy beats to go along... quick and crisp piece... Good one 👍

    Puppets

Nice sequences of the guitars and synth there FreeEarCandy with the extra feel good kicking in when the wind instrument kicks in... vocals sit in well... Overall a good engaging groovy sway to the track that keeps you in it throughout.... 👍
  13. Neat sublime guitars there Mark with engaging vocals and a nice flow to the song... beats just right to define the pace and rhythm... Overall well done song with a modern country feel to it 👍

    9 Dreams

That was quite different and interesting Jesse, kind of an overlap between a soundtrack score and a rocky feel to a song, very unconventional indeed 👌 Good one... well put together 👍
  15. Steady Progressions... An original instrumental music piece... basically of the ambient kind with shades of lite pop, a touch of orchestral and some crystal-like sounds... 🙂🙏 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fs0wAoqdhlo
  16. This video illustrates how the Event List view can be used in Cakewalk by Bandlab to make patch changes (program changes) to kits of NI Polyplex and then automation of Master randomization in Polyplex can be done for more variations within each kit. This is just a simple fun with Polyplex tutorial in Cakewalk by Bandlab that can be applied to any other instruments as well where patch changes can be introduced as MIDI events on MIDI tracks and automation can be applied to any automatable parameter/s.
  17. Thanks Jim for watching, subscribing to my channel and for your feedback. I shall be reducing the volume level of my intro video to balance it in all videos from now on. I use OBS and Cyberlink PowerDirector. Yes, sure I intend to make more videos in future on Cakewalk and other DAWs/instruments too.
  18. Thanks for listening Nigel and for your positive feedback 🙏 Yes, the piano sounds on the RF8 are fantastic indeed. And oh yes, the RF8 is a mighty beast in size, weight and features too 😁
  19. This video illustrates how automation of parameters of an instrument plugin (NI Massive used here) can be done using a MIDI controller in Cakewalk by Bandlab. In particular, it shows how more than one parameter can be assigned to a single knob of a MIDI controller to automate them simultaneously in real time during playback of an instrument track.
  20. Hi folks, I am planning a simple & basic online live presentation event on Introduction to Music & Audio Technology for absolute beginners in the world of music technology. It would be at a very basic and simple level to help understand the very basic stuff in a very simple and easy to understand manner. Of course, I wouldn't personally mind anyone attending but it's important for experienced folks and veterans to know that it would be basic intro stuff to help absolute beginners get aware and up & running with the very simple and basic stuff. The presentation event is likely to be about an hour to 75 minutes long. The date and time is not decided yet. I am a freelance music producer with over 15 years exposure to music and audio technology, so would love to share whatever little I have learnt with those who would like to learn & interact. If & once I am able to fix a schedule for the presentation event depending on interest expressed, I plan to create a live web link for that and share it to the email addresses of those interested. The number of attendee registrations for the presentation event shall be limited to 50 maximum. I would like to assess the interest level for such a presentation, so could I request those who would be interested to express interest by doing two things please : 1. Clicking "like" for this post. 2. Replying to this post with a "+1" Any queries in this regard are welcome. There is a link to my bandcamp page in my signature below which you can visit to check out some of the original music tracks that I have produced. Thanks.
  21. Thanks for listening Tom and for your kind feedback 🙏 Glad you enjoyed the music
  22. Nice catchy guitar strumming Anthony and good vocals... kudos to security guards indeed... they do deserve praise for their sheer dedication and commitment 👍 Good natural spontaneous work on strumming and singing the song 👍
  23. Goodness me ! Why would one ever want to bid farewell to any DAW, unless of course there is shortage of storage space in the computer and a conscious choice has to be made to uninstall an existing one. By the way, we can definitely use more than one DAW 😊 I house six DAWs in my computer, five of them pro-versions and one of them lite-version. Of course, two of the five pro versions are Sonar Platinum and Cakewalk by Bandlab which are of the same genesis. I will admit though that notwithstanding my madness for exploration, my first love was and will always be Cakewalk Sonar from X1 days (which has now developed into the continuously improving Cakewalk by Bandlab). I find no reason to discard any of them, unless if I may ever have to, due to lack of storage space. Hey... let's keep exploring... and most importantly... let's keep making beautiful music 😊 🎹 🎸 🎻 🎷 🎺 🎤 🎙️ 🎧 🎵 🎶 P.S. : By the way, somehow the Spotify link doesn't play for me too.
  24. Thanks for listening Jack and your kind feedback 🙏 No horns used. Only Synth pad and a little bit of accompanying strings towards the end along with the lead piano.
  25. Thanks Steve for listening and your kind feedback 🙏 The piano sound is from my Roland Fantom 8.
