Thanks for mentioning our plug-ins. Fader Hub is actually also available as a plug-in too. Connector is a point to point connection plug-in so it will let you stream to /receive from one other machine (even remotely thru the Internet), while Fader Hub can connect to multiple other machines at the same time to do real time collaboration. When you want to share a session "live" with others, we now have Freeceiver that can be installed freely (no fee) as an app or plug-in on the destination machine, so that listeners do not need to acquire a license for either Connector or Fader Hub. I hope this clarifies. BWT all these tools use a direct peer-to-peer connection, so there is no server in-between.

The update is indeed free for V2 users. The customers special offer should have been sent only to customers who do not own PatchWork V2. If you have received the wrong email, you may want to get in touch with support (maybe you have plug-ins registered with multiple email addresses).

Thanks for mentioning our software! AcouFiend is indeed capable of simulating feedback, but also sustain (use harmonic #1), e-bow tones and more. The idea of such a simulator as a plug-in is to either generate feedback/sustain at low volume while playing (for example on stage if you are using in-ear monitors and no amp, which happens more and more these days, or at home if you don't want to disturb neighbors), or to add feedback to existing tracks, after they have been recorded (it works better if you have the original dry signal of the guitar and re-amp it). It also works on non-guitar signals, as shown in the lead synth example below: It can create some pretty weird effects too, when used in the full wet path of a reverb or delay.
