Hi Noel thanks for responding support suggested to clean up registry keys and sent details on how I admit I was a little scare at first but this really made a great difference as far as the pro channel selection it was a present syth or piano I think . now I was in playback mode when I did this and sometimes reason rack however its really been super stable everything is good right now!!!! sorry for taking so long thanks Eric

  2. lots of crashes bandlab completely vanishes out it does not freeze i can get back in and open  here's what the last couple of things i was doing opening reason rack then going to pro channel click on preset it vanish just close it self out now one time Webroot virus software said that calk walk might have a memory leak ?? the last 4 updates I have seen this happen however more lately thanks for any thought I have a dump file!!! thanks guys Eric

  3. now this is strange my web route anti virus says cakewalk has a possible memory leak don't know how it knows that !! however lots of crashes some times it just vanishes and can open bandlab some time i have to do a hard re boot and other times I can use the task manager it seems like the last 4 updates have been bad for my computer I have not tried using task manager and get crash dump it I will try that then send to support anyone having same issues thanks Eric  also plugins i am using are kontakt   reason studio rack, plugin air, plugins, session drummer etc. thanks Eric

  4. hi Steve i have been getting a lot of crashes using midi madness to the point of locking up or bandlab disappears off the screen, were the task manager has to end the bandlab  daw and I notice the the piano icon is left behind again when you go out of the program will check using phrasebox and see if i get crashes as well and let you know thanks Eric

Hi Noel i have 8  physical cores running process lasso at high performance at 4100k sampling rate 16 lasso processing 13 to16% processer used 20% memory performance on daw  system performance11to16% engine 25to27% with plugin load balance on --- with 96000k 5.8msec 256 samples plugin balance off processer lasso 13to15% 100% responsive 20% memory load daw system 12to17% engine 27to29% buffers 0 plugin load balance on or off did not seem to make a difference i will try useing 96000k on a new project and push it hard and let you know if i see a big difference thanks Eric   i hope you can make sense of this

  6. my 8 core Amd is running much better with this hot fix seems more stable !! I am using process lasso as well my computer isnt that high ended but seems to have a more stable run this is running buffers bar 23.2 16 tracks some instruments and plugins processer running at 18%

  7. hi guys  I did 2 things I rolled back bandlab update 4 and I did a system restore june 30th and so far no crashes this is a new ssd drive its a fairly new fresh install so that date was the closes to the fresh install and jam origin is working great so far update five was acting strange at times I know windows 2004 failed for me so maybe the two are the problem!!! thanks eric  

  8. thanks for responding I found midi dumps but no current date as per today I had 5 crashes could not even get the start window key to get me to restart I check jam origin and they said bandlab works great with it I downloaded the rollback update 4 ill see what happens with that you would think there would be a dump file !!! what happens suddenly I get this white hazy scene then I have to do a hard shutdown thanks for your help guys eric

  9. hi guys I am getting hard crashes were I have to do a hard shut down  this is running jam origin vianna vcl a couple of plugins now windows 2004 failed for me so I don't know if this is the problem but how do you roll back from 5 update to earlier updates thanks eric

I have this issue as well I have noticed at times if say you drag a midi file in sometimes it makes a double file !!!! this midi you did in another program I am beta testing scaler2 using bandlab sustain is overwhelming not saying its bandlab but it seems to be worst when using scaler thanks eric
