OK! RIDDLE SOLVED! I switched to the WASAPI Exclusive and that opened up everything for me. I've never seen it referenced as such.

I just installed CWBL and I use the PreSonus StudioLive 1824c for my interface, but CWBL refuses to allow me to connect to that driver, ONLY the Windows ASIO driver, which sucks. I used to use a PreSonus 1818 interface a few years ago with CWBL and it ran fine. What's the problem?

Why is that spec an impossibility? Is there any patch I need to install? Also, in the big Export Menu I can't figure out how to make the File Name get captured. I KNOW from using Audacity on every file that the Artists and Song tags are done correctly. So, why doesn't it tr'fer over to BLab? FRUSTRATING!😡😡

OK. Before I did a clean uninstall of Platinum and reinstall of Bandlab my PreSonus FaderPort8 worked fine. Now, when I tap the Red Record button on the Faderport to start recording the Transport will start, but there's no recording. It works fine when I just tap the "R" on my keyboard. I've updated my Universal Driver, and my firmware, although, BOTH were already up to date. I checked all updates on the Bandlab side and they were up to date. I UNCHECKED the Control Surface dialog box in CW Prefs. I don't know what else to check. The affected file is attached. I checked my other files as well and they don't work either.
