Here's another try at making a metal song with midi only. Any form of feedback is much appreciated!
  2. @Wookiee a little. I just recently bought Ozone 10 advanced and got a multiband compressor plugin with it that i'm trying to learn. Although I've found that adding compression to every drum channel just makes the snare and kick disappear in the mix, so I try to limit my use of compression on already compressed drums. For som context, I watched a video about why you shouldn't mix Drum kit packs from EZ drummer because the come pre-mixed. At least that's what I got from the video. Edit: Shouldn't mix. Not should mix.
  3. Interesting that you mentioned an issue with the spacing of drum hits. I'm using EZdrummer 3 and every time I'm finished making a beat, I run it through the "humanizer" that spaces out the hits but I'll take a deeper look at it. as for the velocity. The Humanizer in EZ drummer changes that as well. After that i tend to put all the kick drum hits to max velocity to mimic a drum trigger for consistent hits. I'm going to experiment with this in the future to se if I can find a happy medium. Also thank you!
  4. Made another full MIDI song. This time I work a bit more on trying to get the guitars to sound more realistic. Still pretty new to this but hope you like it. Any feedback or critique are appreciated.
  5. Hi! Third ever song i'v finished that I've made using a DAW. Only have a bout 3 months worth of using one and mixing in general. Every instrument used is midi that i've written myself. No vocals. Hope you enjoy the song
  6. I see. Is it as simple as just deleting the dll file itself that is causing the problem or do I use the uninstall.exe to get rid of the Aria Engine completely?
  7. Hi So as the title suggests, Cakewalk crashes when I try to export audio. I have read a couple of other threads about this topic already but none of the solutions have worked for me. When I look at the windows event viewer I find that a file called "libsndfile_x64" causes the error. I had managed to export two wave files prior. The only difference between before, when it worked, to now when it crashes, I only switched the audio output from headphones to my speakers (which I've already done many times before the problem occurred). Thanks for any help in advance.
