  1. It would've been nice if they incorporated Streamliner into Metric AB as a new feature & for an update fee. After getting AB a few years ago I retired all my similar analysis, LUFS & A/B type plugins, wouldn't be without it.
  2. €67 (Reg. €169) https://www.acustica-audio.com/store/products/honey Promo valid through Oct.11, 2020 (11:59 pm UTC+2) use personal code for added discount
  3. Tried the demo & the reverb sounds as expected since it from M. Carnes. I was surprised by the AI, very useful for setting up a reverb quickly & got some great results. Worth checking out.
  4. Thanks for your comments Tom, appreciate it.
  5. Not that you care but Michael was the synth player in one of my fav. bands The Tubes..Interesting artist, after he left the band he got into in stage design. https://www.mcotten.com/michael-cotten-biography Anyway as soon as I heard to track it reminded me of his synth work...carry on
  6. Nice one, the synth sounds reminded me of Michael Cotten.
  7. Phoenix, which is known for natural characteristics is the only verb I'd reach for to use on an individual track, the mixbus or mastering.

  10. I liked this one too, add it to the album.
  11. Agree on the Peter & Gordon comments. Brought me right back to that time period as well. A good tune, classic songwriting. Enjoyed the listen.
  12. @Bajan Blue @thegaltieribrothers @Jesse Screed Thanks to you all for listening & the feedback. Glad you enjoyed the video too. They're fun to put together even though quite amateurish.
  13. Thanks Tom & Gary, I appreciate the feedback. Using free bits of footage these background vids are pieced together loosely by the mood of the tune rather than any story line. Just a bit of eye candy for YT listeners. Good to know the mixes are in the ballpark & that you're hearing nuances.
  14. Thanks very much Freddy. For these background vids I use free footage available from around the web. Google 'license royalty free footage' & you'll find different sites.
  15. Thanks for checking it out Wookiee, appreciate the comments.
  16. Thanks Daryl, very nice of you to say. Haven't listened to Body & Soul in ages, thanks for the reminder!
  17. Thanks for listening Paul, glad you enjoyed the tune.
  18. Instrumental light symphonic-jazz w/ video backdrop.
  19. This is an experiment. I have often wondered how much of our enjoyment of a profile stemmed from “knowing” what the amp profiled was and how much of it was based purely on how it sounds. The Brown Bag Pack contains 25 Studio Rigs and 3 Plug’n’Play Performances. BROWN BAG PACK- $7.99 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZD4iwSDFqXg https://mbritt.com/product/brown-bag-pack/
  20. Thanks for the kinds words Hugh, glad you made it past the intro! Thanks for listening Daryl, truly appreciated.
  21. I only tried it briefly. I had to back down the HF to start. Since this is partly from Luca's studio chain I get the feeling it's using the same HF emulation from Lift or Diamond. Once I dialed it down I could deal with it better. I still feel this is better suited for dance music. When I get more time I'll work with it some more, think parallel mixing might be the key here. Could be useful on stems or busses too, not sure yet.
  22. Thanks for listening Max. Yeah, lots of tracks in this one.
  23. Instrumental demo test mix-master #1. Enjoy & Be Safe...
  24. @Max Arwood Sounds like you're new to AA so I'd first suggest to try the freebies. Because of the tech that's used the cpu usage is higher than most so it's all about a workflow trade-off. The performance greatly depends on you're machine build as well as the daw used ( e.g. you can run more instances in Reaper) I like N4 + 3rd party programs myself. For Acqua's my choice would be Lime or Amethyst for all around general purpose strips. Also because of the tech I prefer to use algo comps (except for when I have a very difficult instrument track. That's when I'll reach for programs made by Tim Petherick /3rd party-N4..great stuff) It really depends on your needs or what works on your material. Demos usually run for about a month.
