  1. Thank you everyone. I did what Variorum suggested and opened from Cakewalk Core .exe. It opened without issue. The taskbar shortcut mustn't have refreshed on install or something and was looking for something that wasn't there? Not sure. Anyway, it seems to be operating OK for now. Will dive deeper if it occurs again. Again, thank you all for taking the time.
  2. Thank you. But even a clean install didn't fix the issue. Anyone have any more suggestions. I'll have to toss the product out if it doesn't come right. Which would be a shame after 11 years.
  3. Hello I have had Cakewalk installed for many, many years. The attached message started appearing last week. No changes were made to Cakewalk or VSTs or my computer. I have reinstalled four times. This still keeps coming up. Does anyone know why and what I can do about it? Thank you.
  4. Hello So I have two computers. Laptop and desk top. I have the same VSTs on both computers. When I open a project on one computer that was recorded (or just mixed a little) on the other computer, sometimes the VSTs are considered MISSING (see image) and aren't loaded into the session. Does anyone have an answer to why this might happen and what I might do about it? Thanks very much. D
