  1. I've used it successfully, but I'm still working out bugs. I doesn't load as an effect like it does in Reaper, but load it as a synth. Then load your synth of choice and set the input to be the output of Stochas. On each layer of Stochas, set the MIDI channel to a unique channel and match that with your synth's input channel. I've run 4 at one time and it works slick. If you want to hear the output without recording anything, just set loop points. Cakewalk will play if there's a loop even if there is not data in the tracks. This causes Stochas to run and output MIDI notes. I use it to create random ambient backgrounds for improvising on Native American Flute.
